Also my role PM did not say I could not tarrget myself it said I could choose a target. So me taking that in it's literal sense assumed I could choose myself. How that makes my posts worthless though is beyond me. Have I struck a nerve Verb?

EP, to be frank, you're not good enough to strike a nerve with me. But your inability to grasp the point I'm making regarding what I bolded above is amazing. I said I have no info on that, and no ties should be made as a result. In my opinion, that is completely ridiculous to include as reasoning within this game. I know you aren't alone in having brought it up, and it is obvious that the thought is still on folks' minds.

Vote Darthe. He is coming across as the scummier of the two to me. His casing has seemed opportunistic, and if he is town challenging another townie, then I'd rather keep BG's role.

I don't know, I'm starting to rethink my position here. Darthe was able to back up his claim, at least as it pertains to his role. Alignment is a different story though.

BG, on the other hand, has no way to back up his claim, and when I asked what role he enabled, answered "investigative" roles. Really? He enables each and every investigative role that we may have? Not just Cop, but all of them? That seems a little far-fetched to me. Putting that much importance on one player doesn't seem quite right. If he is taken out, that would cripple Town to such an extent that we may not recover. That may be an exaggeration, but not by much. And by claiming such, he almost assures that Town players wouldn't dare mess with him.

So to sum up, BG's claim is a little suspect to me, firstly because I can't see one player that could effectively ruin every investigative role that Town has, and secondly, because it's the perfect claim for him to make when his lynching is in question. I haven't made up my mind, because this is all WIFOM anyway and I'm hesitant to make the move that I just described. But you have to admit, this is easily a claim that savvy player like BG would make as scum. I'll consider and return.

Finally, it looks like Basel didn't agree with the idea that we wait to give Darthe time to get home to make his case. Duly noted.

Um, I didn't say investigative roles.

No, you said blocking roles, if I recall correctly. But the same logic that Ishy pulled up applies. Enabling a certain type of role is awfully specific - especially when you can impact all players with that said type of role. I don't like it at all. Vote: BG.

That's generally how it works though. Ever played with an enabler before? And the logicll) is not the same for both. Investigative roles are towns primary way of getting scum. Blocking roles can be useful but can also hurt. Plus, Snow tells us mafia have RB. So if need be I can sacrifice myself, but then EP would lose his role.

So any bodyguard, roleblocker, jailer etc. that may be in the game, you're saying you enable all of those? That seems....doubtful. Not saying you're lying (yet), only that seems a little far fetched.

That's pretty much the idea. But I don't think Bodyguard would count as a blocking role. Seems like that would be protective. But I don't know how Kae and Key classify these things.

Pretty sure that would be unfair. Again, I'd think that's protective. For example EP both blocks and protects, two separate things. I think blocking is an offensive move.

Fair enough. I haven't made up my mind, so will hold off on voting for now. Hope to hear what others have to say on the matter. And hopefully hear Darthe's pitch before Christmas too.

You again are miss understanding it, I never said you said anything to anyone, I labled you guilty by association. Even if I left it out completely I still have a fair bit against you.

I'd be happy to run Verb up tomorrow (again). And not because I have inside information, I don't and never implied that I did (as others have already pointed out). But lurky Verb is a dangerous Verb. And a Town Verb would be a huge asset, denying his skill to us is lame.
