Well, it looks like we're dealing with good ole Town on Town action. And that being the case, all I can ask myself is which role helps us more? And the answer seems to be a no-brainer.

WHY YOU NO VOTEY DARTHE?

 

I'll be honest in that in a game where No Lynch isn't an option, lynching an inactive early isn't quite as bad.

 

But there's still a risk that we lose a town power role. Yes, that role in the hands of an inactive player is most likely not going to be used as effectively, but chances are if that person stays inactive eventually the mod will replace them, hopefully with a more skilled and active player

 

Why the flippy floppy?

 

1. I remembered that no lynch wasn't an option

2. One of the inactives (Leelou) struck me as a good candidate for the inactive thing cause for posting very little, she actually had a fair amount against her

3. Cause I can flippy floppy if I WANT durnit!

 

 

They both claimed Stark characters, who will be town in this game (slight bit of doubt in EP's case, since Night's Watch could be third party, but meh). Even if they are lying, they will eventually be outed.

 

Still mentioning third parties when the Mods posted the win conditions of only Town and Mafia.

Hmmm you're right. Forgot about that. Went back to see if they were as lock tight as DPR's were, and they seem to be to me. Doesn't seem like third party will be in this game.

 

Which means Jon Snow is town. Which means you should stop suggesting peeps kill him.

 

Incidentally, why did we never consider a wot13 lynch? It seems the entire reason for her getting the PR had to do with something about win conditions, and the part about mafia win conditions being worded diff by mistake kinda makes me think she's prob mafia. Plus she's been totally absent since getting her PR, she's posted like.. twice since then I think?

 

Would it make us meanyheads to just lynch her instead?

I've spent a lot of time thinking about this situation this morning when I should be getting ready for work

 

Both of them could be town to be honest, if Darthe is town he'd have no way to know whether or not BG was, but since we have to vote one or the other, I've been trying to decide who is more questionable.

 

BG's behavior D1 and D2 has been curious to me, but it actually does kind of remind me of his play in Nol's monopoly game when he was a town power role. The character claim is slightly obscure, but it has the ring of truth to me, especially now that he's clarified further.

 

Darthe's been very bold in his tunneling on BG, and while some may say it doesn't make sense for him to be this bold as mafia, he's quite good at manipulation, and if this time around the gladiator role is being used for the mafia, it makes sense to play it bold. If he's lying about having his ability doubled, we wouldn't know it until... well, he just never challenged someone again, which he could very well say he doesn't have anyone else he wants to challenge yet. For someone who is a self-proclaimed expert on the source material, he could easily have pulled the Greatjon as a reasonable fake claim. Robb's bannermen are less likely to be in the game than some others.

 

The gladiator role would make sense as Khal Drogo also, but that would mean if Darthe was scum that the mafia team would be Dany and the Dothraki... less likely in my opinion than the Lannisters... but gladiator would be quite a good role for Jaime Lannister as well, as Kingsguard.

 

Or he could be telling the truth. He could be the Greatjon. But he'd have no way to know whether or not BG is mafia.

 

If they're both town, it's less of a loss to town to remove a gladiator who should be one-shot (and may or may not have a second).

Since I'm on let me go ahead and rehash my case on Verb in abbreviated format.

 

Starting out the game he gave no relevant thoughts. Goes away from the game for a bit, which is all good but then comes back making wortheless posts that several of us called him out on. Me being one, and Red 1.0 another, when he responded to my referral of Red 1.0's suspicion of his posts he is all "Red knows I'm just joking around." However Red 1.0 followed up stating that she legitly was suspicious of him due to his posting. We then see the Mod post of the incident that caused members to request replacements, and I deduced a possible scenario, which btw Rand that would make you mafia, as replacement for WoT13. Verb shows up acts like that's the only thing I've had against him all game, so tries to discredit my already existing suspicion on him. I state something about his post style that he called joking as being a new way to blend in with town because to many of us remembered his play from the Avengers game where Wombat sacrificed another team mate to allow Verb to lurk the rest of the game to victory. Verb answers back with "when have I been lurky this game?" which clearly wasn't what I was saying with the statement. Then Verb DOES go lurk mode (making aybe 3-4 posts for several days worth of play) and now finally resurfaces just to say I have no case on him still.

 

OMG are you really piggybacking Red's suspicion of me? Her suspicion is 100% rooted in years of meta playing against me. Years.

 

And don't talk to me about worthless posts, coming from the guy who can't understand his own damn role PM.

 

Re: the Avengers, I was the recruiter. I needed to hide. I avoided any type on confrontation. It worked. I'm not avoiding confrontation here - stop using invalid material from other games.

I am not piggy backing Red at all, I went after you first Red even defended you against me until you returned from where ever you went, I just commented on your response and and Red's subsequent response and then your lack thereof.

 

Also, playstyle changes from game to game and the differences between them, are not invalid. It paints a bigger picture.

 

As a part of the entire picture yes, it's only a minor supporting suspicion though. I would still be going after you if that had not happened though.

Just to clarify, my second challenge is your choice and you all are letting EP push you into the lynch of a townie who has tried his damnest to get the person he is most certain is scum to be lynched. If you want me to challenge someone tomorrow to prove this stupid theory that I am lying is wrong then I will, but you have to lynch BG. He is mafia if I ever saw it. Hardly any of you were even voting me until this, so what has changed? This is a scummy wagon if There ever has been and It confirms BG as mafia to me. Honestly Darthe, I get your frustration. But this is a hopeless situation. You've both claimed, both characters and roles, wich both seem town. You put us into this mess Darthe, and now one of you has to go. I'm more wary of losing BG's claimed role than yours. If somehow you both are town, then your judgment in this has been lousy to say the least, and I'm not sure I'd trust you'd do a better decision on your second shot. My vote stays.
