Yes, it was backpedaling, but not to protect myself, but to make sure to let him know that no one wanted him to reveal, so he wouldn't. I did it more for the general benefit of town.

I don't like how fast Rand 1.0 's lynch went. I mean sure he was doing a bit of fence-sitting, but I think that's not so unusual for town right? From what I gathered, a lot of people voted him for his claim being 'convenient', but is that worth risking a powerful town role? Why not lynch BG, who is scummier imo, instead of Rand? This makes me suspicious of Ishy, Basel, JLM, and BG cuz, being the middle votes, they were the ones who practically made it necessary to lynch Rand to avoid a random. BG I'm already pretty sure is scum, Ishy hopped onto Rand's train with no explanation given and I don't think he said much about it after Rand claimed JoaT. Basel and JLM I haven't been paying that much attention too. Not going to look back through quotes now, but I'd like to check up on them later.

 

Red 2.0 is confusing me. I know people have already mentioned this, but she's just so different than Red 1.0, especially with the whole Night thing. I don't know if she's scum or not, but she seems to have more information now than she did as Red 1.0.

Also, @Darthe: posting a wall of quotes =/= a case. Next time be a little more selective on which quotes you grab, and explain why they seem scummy.

 

If NS was a GF, and IF Peace did view him, and got back a result of town or not antitown or w/e, then his result would NOT be inaccurate. The GF's ability makes him read as town when viewed, it doesn't alter the accuracy of the cop's viewings.

Inaccuracy implies that the viewing itself was innacurate, in that it the result obtained was not what it should have been. For instance, a cop may only have 50% accuracy, so half of his readings will generally be inaccurate.

 

Getting a "town" read on a GF however, is not an inaccurate reading. The reading is expected by the mod, the accuracy of the viewing was spot on, it just happened to trigger the GF's ability to appear town. To go a little further into this matter, if a cop claims, then says they viewed someone and got scum, then when that person flips they turn out to be town, town can suspect that either the cop claim was rubbish, or that the viewing may have been innacurate due to the cop being partially effective, i.e. a percentage role, or that he is an insane or paranoid or gullible cop or something. However if a cop says they viewed someone as town, but then that person dies and flips as the mafia GF, no one questions the validity of the cop's other viewings, because he did not give an innacurate viewing of that player, he gave a viewing which corresponded to that player's role.

 

In the same fashion it wouldn't be innaccurate to get a mafia reading on a town miller; the miller's role is exactly what gives the cop the reading he gets.

 

So no Basel, viewing a GF as town does NOT make the cop's viewing innacurate. But your continued obsession with this minor point of my fos against you continues to ping. Rising up my scumdar, you are.

Either way, I really want to figure out this BG situation. Pinged to me earlier in the game for his bizarro fos @ Red and for his call to lynch inactives (and yes, he did call for that, don't buy that story about looking at peeps who were normally active when two of the people he fos'd for this he hardly ever plays with), and his ability to escape lynches and pressure makes me think scum is trying to protect him.
