Hey Nightstrike, I can see your kinda bummed out by all this. Your reactions aren't helping your case. The emo nuttiness thing isn't what gets to me. Or even Red's casing, which I kinda agreed with you seemed trumped up. The fact you aren't going out on a limb and voting someone or casing someone to help town or something other than sulk about how everyone is voting for you convinces me that you don't really have any good reasons to accuse anyone of being scummy cause you don't want to incriminate anyone. If you are town like you proclaim to be, do something to help town. Actually, you haven't really proclaimed to be town, but you have sarcastically joked about being mafia a few times now.

Sorry I haven't been as active, I just got off work for my 5 nights. Prob won't be quite as active for a bit.

 

NS still seems to be going off the deep end. Had a townie vibe from him before, but that turned into more of a jesterish vibe. If he is a Jester I don't want him to get a win the way he's acted, even if it doesn't prevent town from getting a win as well.

 

For now I'm gonna Vote Razen.

Basically, I had a gut feeling on you day 1, half the reason for that is now invalid due to Red flipping town, but even before you went away you didn't really contribute much. Not to mention, the way you basically shrugged of my statement against you day 1.

 

After you came back, you hammered with absolutely no additional thoughts contributed, granted Basil was a SK, but the way you trumped up your hammer and basically ingratiated the rest of us to your quick hammer is not something a townie would do. Red also commented on how you were acting weird and asked you if you would share thoughts and you blatently said no.

dude, i agree EP's play is scummy, but townies can act scummy as well. Nol said its Mod Confirmed, before D2 started no less. i have no reason to doubt it and you continueing to do so seems like your trying to cast doubt on Nol more than going after EP.

 

 

Honestly, I am getting a town read on Ed right now. No mafia would be so belligerent, accuse a mod-confirmed townie, and do this. Its one of those things where he is so scummy that he has to be town.

I never have understood how fence sitting can be considered a legit accusation. At best its a little wifom. If you are town, you have no direct knowledge of alignments. Therefore fence sitting is natural.

 

The wifom part I get cause scum can use fence sitting as a way to hedge.

 

But fence sitting on it's own is not an indication of guilt. I've felt that way many times as town.

 

It's coming across to me as playing a little too careful - trying to play both sides of the fence, so to speak, not being willing to be pinned down to a position.

Despo and Red seemed to disagree who to go after a couple of pages back. Maybe indicative of that they're not on the same team, at least if one of them isn't town. If both are town, then I suppose it means absolutely nothing. Nolder has argued for not pursuing the issues with EP that has taken so much time and effort, so I think I should consider him a likely townie. Those that have spent a lot of space on those issues could be on the scum team, as someone else pointed out. Nolder, perhaps?

@Darthe: I have this thing called a job. Perhaps you have heard of them. I am away from home for several hours at a time while others have time to sit around on their duff and present their cases. As such, it is not unexpected that people will notice things before I even have a chance to read them. I saw things about NS that people had already commented on while I was away, and I found them scummy. Would you rather I explain why I am voting someone or just post a vote with no reasoning attached? If you are going to attack me for not being the first one to point out something because I was busy earning money in order to keep myself in good financial standing, then I consider that awfully close to getting personal.

 

Furthermore, if you are going to make a case on me or anyone else, obscure allusions are not a good idea. I don't understand why you are accusing me of impressionism, because in a GoT themed game I don't see what is so scummy about being part of a 19th century French style of painting.

At the time, I figured there wasn't a third party in the game because I was reminded of the win conditions listed at the beginning of the game. I wanted more pressure on BG, and felt we might be able to get a lynch on him if activity picked up a bit at the last second. BG is still high on my list, and seems to ping on others too, but atm Razen looks scummiest to me.

 

The shorthand on my case it that he started the game saying he really wanted to hear my thoughts on things, which came off as an uberping to me, and then after being fos'd lurked for a long time, before finally coming back and basically omgus fos'ing me. Finally he posted that uberscummy post that was trying to cast more doubt on Nol and EP.

 

He's playing pretty obviously scummish to me so far this game

True, even though the case sucks. EP, you're casing me on a gut feel. I haven't actually contradicted myself, WIFOMed myself or anybody else, nor have I distanced or done anything you might label as "scummy". Instead, I was slightly inactive to start the game, went away for a long weekend, and came back to hammer the SK.

 

I shrugged off your "statement" against me on D1 for a simple reason: if you were scum, I wouldn't let you get a handhold on me to attempt a train.

 

As for the "trumping up my hammer", that is called joking. I'm pretty sure you don't think I'm bad enough to just randomly use something like that to make myself appear townie.....look at it through the lense of me joking around and you might see it differently.

 

Red commented on me acting weird because I don't normally play a "jokey" game in mafia. Not my style. She knows this, and is questioning me on it. I still haven't decided on whether I'm answering her, and in which way I'm leaning regarding her alignment.

 

 

Any other questions? Your "case" isn't really a case - it is a jumble of gut feels that you're cropping together to see what momentum you can get with me. I assure you, the momentum will be little to none. ;-)

i agree with BG's statement that the scum were likely lurking yestruday, hence my questioning you about your play style this go around. i was waiting to see if you changed it on D2, giving you the benefit of the doubt on maybe you being under a PR or something, thats not the case and i do have to say your play style this go around is pinging on a gut level. not enough to start casing you on, but enough to be more than a little more wary of you than normal.

with Strike, i'm less sure about than i was over the night, mainly because of the NK on Red 1.0 i'm still good with his lynch, but the NK coupled with how JLM and Ishy pounced on him come Day break just screams set up. his lynch is great info as far as i'm concerned, and that alone is enough to lynch him over. the NK is major WIFOM, it gives me pause, but not enough to back off wanting to lynch him. hence my continued push for duel trains and dislike of his fast track lynch.
