So, Nol, Basel, I'd really like to know why you were voting when John was at L-2 and I'd already pointed out at least once that we needed him to post and possibly give us some answers before we lynched him.

 

John had been caught in an outright lie and his whole house of cards was falling apart. It was pretty plain to me that he ha been proven a LLL. If he gave us any answers, they would also be lies, seeing as he was anti-town. If I don't expect him to tell the truth, why bother waiting for him to say anything?

So where do we go from here then? Your blocking of Dice means nothing

Well, it does mean something. So there are two possibilities, Dice is town, or Dice is scum.

 

Dice is town: Either mafia didn't want to WIFOM the both of us and is just trying to kill random townies or mafia tried to kill you Nol.

 

Dice is scum: I RBed him.

 

So we have to look at these options and see which one is more likely. And honestly, I don't really see a better case then the probability of Dice being scum from these options. yes, this one is less sure than random, but it is the best chance we have so far. I haven't really seen a case that is more convincing than this yet.

It's the flip of a coin. But, then again, the actual odds in most mafia situations come down to 50-50. Rand and Nolder are safe, because we can't afford to lose another power role. That leaves the other five of us all as 50/50. What I want to know is, why Dice in particular? Did you just randomly pick him to roleblock, which then brings suspicion on him, or do you have a case against him? Because the other possibilities:

1) That you have lied , and have no power role, and are mafia.

2) That Nolder was targeted, and therefore negated as Nolder protected himself.

3) That dice was targeted, and protected because of you.

Are all still just as viable without a case. The second two options don't implicate anyone, your suggestion and the first option both target players.

This is a Basic game right?

So why does Town have two protection roles?

I can see it being a counter to the SK but IMHO that's heavy handed modding if so because SKs usually have a hard time winning anyway

 

Add that to his actions which to me seem aggressive and town leading and...I just don't like it

I already got random because of my actions. i've pretty much done all I can to prove that my actions work. The only thing that would make me more sure as my role would be a mod-confirmation. And i chose Dice because it seemed like he was going under the radar. Again, mafia may have wanted to kill that person as well. I don't know, but we really don't have a lot to go off of recently and this flip and how people vote will give us a lot of info.
