Oh really. Might want to bring that up with the 35,000 people in it? Or the fact that we are the most populated state in America. /owned

That's reason #1 not to move there.

Reason #2 - insanely high cost of living.

That was my next thought. The economics of CA are horrible. I see a ton of people moving to Arizona and New Mexico from California. I don't see many moving too California..well, except from Mexico.

#3 Horrible political system.

#4 Bankrupt State

#5 Prevalent liberal bias

Don't get me wrong. I love visiting CA. It's beautiful country. But I would never live there.

OK, if we're actually doing this.

Reason 1: We have a lot of urban cities so you see a lot of options for buying and selling different things.

Reason 2: Not only do we have a lot of urban areas with a lot of cities right next to each other, we also have places of pure solitude and anywhere in between.

Reason 3: Our landscape and weather are the most diverse in the country. You can literally drive from snow to beach in 2 hours.

Reason 4: Due to our size and population, we have a lot of resources, jobs, and a lot of different job opportunities in California.

and I could go on, but I need to catch up on DM. :)

Eh, the political system isn't as bad as everyone says, though it is pretty bad, but yeah you do have a few points. However, the economy in california is getting better currently and we aren't doing as bad as before, especially in North Cal.

It doesn't matter how good it gets. The cost of living is ungawdly. Unless you are a high dollar professional you will be struggling to live in one of the bigger cities unless you have a home willed to you.

Not all cities, there are a bunch with reasonable living rates, just some of the big ones have larger rates.

Practically a different state TBH

SoCal VOTERS are very conservative

And that's all that matters if that's what you're concerned about

Wouldnt ever get me to California. Visit would be ok though. Too many people. Colorado is ok. Montana or idaho is probably my best bet. Not alot of people, mountains and lots of boarding. Yeah.
