You know, everyone says that, but in all of the mafia games I've played so far, there has only been one that had a Godfather.

That's including basic and advanced games, too.

And your vast experience out weighs Tress's? Why are you trying to hide the Godfather possibility?

I didn't say my experience outweighs Tress's. I said that in my experience, GF's are a lot rarer than people make them out to be.

And you are purposely missing the point. Your experience is minimal so why would you are anyone else give credence? You are smart enough to know this so I can only assume you are trying to discount the possibility of a GF for a reason.

I'm still not convinced Basel's claim is legit. Seems town had a lot of power roles for a basic game.

Seeing no CC I'm leaning towards believing Kae. Trust your gut on who to view.

Rand, is pinging me as well...

I'll post more thoughts when I get home from work.

All right, Rand, I will buy your logic and vote Random. If he flips scum, then I would consider you not nearly as suspicious. You went after him way too early to be busing, so therefore I don't think that you both could be scum. If he flips town, then I will take a good, hard look at your posts during the night.

I find it interesting that Basel has basically ignored that I have called his role BS several times.

Wanna explain the overpowered role in a basic game Basel?

I'm not sure what you anticipate he'll be able to say there... If he's telling the truth, all he can say is that's the role he was given. If he's lying, it's not like he can change his claim now.

Something about the way Basel voted Random makes it seem like he's reluctant to do so... Almost like he'd rather vote Rand but can't justify it. Here's hoping this will make a few things clearer.

Basel - stuck out to me most during the re-read. His bandwagon-y vote on Kae, then near-immediate unvote after her claim pinged pretty hard. The Adien/Sensor claim... well, the character fits the role, and the character would definitely be town, but... eh. Mod-provided safe fake claims are not unheard of. And sensor is listed in the MafiaScum wiki as being "painfully overpowered" for town, I have a hard time seeing it in a basic game of this size.

I've been guessing that scum have a similarly powerful role. Not sure what, but a cop and a sensor needs to be balanced out with something hard to crack.

Peace, I have already addressed this once. Perhaps you might wish to look up "ignore" in a dictionary. If you would like me to explain how my role can be in this game, then I would in turn like to hear your explanation for how I can read the mod's mind as to him putting it in. I am what I am, and I will assume until and unless I see otherwise that the scum team has some way of balancing things out. So-called "basic" games on DM can diverge widely from what would be normally considered basic, and this game is hardly the first instance of that. If you choose not to believe me, then fine... it's your loss.

Or at least, it's your loss if you're town.

No, I'm sorry, I haven't been on much today, and just found out some of my best friends since high school lost their son today, so I was going to sign on to ask to be replaced, but I would probably be out anyway. Sorry everyone, this doesn't reflect on the game at all, I just can't concentrate on this right now.

Thanks for letting me play with you guys, and I"m sure things will be better by the time the next one rolls around.

Best of luck everybody.

I'm sure I will John, I'm already signed up for two more games. But I noted an LOA in the BT, and just figure it'll take a couple days at least to be ok with contributing much again.

Dilaf came back to the Derethi chapel giddy from the victory of destroying one of those heathen creations. How he loved to see one more piece of Elantris die! As he walked toward his home, he noticed a crowd had gathered near it. A young lady whom he recognized as the late prince's wife, seemed to have incited a riot.

"Get out, Derethi instigator!"

"We don't want another Duladen!"

A young lord, one he didn't know, stepped forward and, before Dilaf could do anything about it, slid his sword right between Dilaf's Dakhor-enlarged ribs. As blackness came on, he wondered who would lead Jaddeth's holy armies in to destroy them now...

Randomh3r0, Dilaf, Mafia Godfather, has been lynched.

It is now Night 2. Night will last until about this time tomorrow.
