I, personally, prefer College football. Being a good Georgia peach who was raised properly, my feelings are:

I like the Fresno Bulldogs, USC and the Oregon Ducks. I love football both college and pro.

I live near Fresno and not too far from LA. Best friends.... Husband graduated from USC law school. Love Oregon!!!!

So, this weekend's college match ups are here:

The SEC listing is:

Sept. 8

Auburn at Mississippi State

Florida at Texas A&M

Georgia at Missouri

Western Kentucky at Alabama

Louisiana-Monroe at Arkansas (Little Rock)

Kent State at Kentucky

Washington at LSU

UTEP at Ole Miss

East Carolina at South Carolina

Georgia State at Tennessee

Vanderbilt at Northwestern

So, aside from the GA/Missouri game, which ones do you think would be worth watching??

If you like the Falcons, then I guess we can get along since JacQuizz Rogers is starting to make a name for himself there.

JQ is good but what a horrible name.

I'll join in on this one. Being from the middle of the country, it's always been Big Ten football up here. And there's nothing like a Big Ten campus on game day. This is the most exciting time of the year. And Golden Gopher football has their home opener this weekend!

We play New Hampshire tomorrow. Considering we had to go to triple overtime last week Thursday to beat UNLV, I'm not sure whether this is going to be good or bad.

From the SEC (I cringe a little inside to be saying this), here's the games that would sound the most interesting to me (with my limited knowledge of the SEC):

LSU vs. Washington

Florida vs. Texas A&M

Georgia vs. Missouri

Vanderbilt vs. Northwestern (go 'Cats!)

I don't know much about the Big10, Razen (I'm a die hard SEC girl!). Who all is in that division?? Sure, I could look it up, but I have more fun asking someone who knows! ;)

Well there's 12 teams (big misnomer that, calling it the Big 10), spread out like this:

Legends Division: Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern

Leaders Division: Illinois, Indiana, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, Wisconsin

It's not geographically split - which is odd, but as long as we don't see Ohio State on a yearly basis, I'll take it.

And I have no idea what I was concerned about, because the Gophers won 44-7. Ski-U-Mah! Hopefully this continues forward and we can actually be competitive in all of our games this year.

Ah, gotcha! Ohio vs Michigan is usuallya good game, right?

Yup! I dislike them both though. Michigan more so. This is the reason why:

How is Syracuse doing, Ryrin? Minnesota plays them in two weeks.

I used to work with a die hard Ohio State fan. He carried buckeyes in his pockets and you didn't get him to go anywhere in Saturdays until after football season. Lol, he cursed Michigan often...

Oregon State upset #13 Wisconsin today! A bogus PI call with 1:36 prevented the first shut-out of Wisconsin since 1997. Still ended their 33-game non-conference win streak though, and held a Heisman finalist to less than 60 yards... over 80 below his average.

Hurrah Beavers! You guys beat our hated rivals to the east and showed that they aren't invincible. All my friends that go to UW are posting upset statuses on Facebook like crazy. We were pulling for you guys the whole way. Ski-U-Mah!
