The petals swirled through the air. It was amazing to the trainers that the Petal Dance could keep going this long. Some strained to see their pokemon through them, but it didn't work.

Or did it? Patches of the sky above began to be visible.

"Ok everyone, time to return to your friends!"

After a moment, the petals lessened more, then more. When all the petals finally settled, everything appeared to be exactly the same as it had been before the Petal Dance.

It is now Day 2

Deadline is at 12:30 August 24, EST

With 15 alive, it takes 8 to lynch.

Hmmm... interesting, no NK's. This could either be very good or very bad for town. The scum could have possibly targeted the doc, and the doc usually self-protects N1, so it's possible the scum already know who he/she is. Let's hope that's not the case. Either way, the Doc might need to watch his/her back even moar carefully.

The great thing we could get out of this is if someone has some role info that could help bag some scum today. Did anyone RB or Jail someone last night? You don't have to come out in the open if you don't desire, but if there is a RB'er of some kind that could explain the lack of deaths.

I'm going to withhold my vote for now to see if anyone has any pertinent info of that sort, or any other sort for that matter.

Oh and pre-post edit: A third possibility is that the scum team just decided they felt bad for us and chose not to NK anyone  If that's the case then I will present them with a giant hug

... right after I've watched the life drain from their scummy bodies of course

Incidentally, speaking of EP, I expected more out of him this game. Not just cause of his rep, but because of how much he talks about his play in the first pokemon game. And I expected him to be much more spammy than he has been. Also, he never came out and confirmed that he was Teddieursa, did he? I would have expected him to respond to that.

Also not really believing that I just so happened to bring up Marsh RIGHT as he finally was looking at the thread after 4 days. But he's not the only one who resurfaced all suspicious like.

Why should I confirm my pokemon? Oh and technically we are all trainers, not pokemon so I am not teddiursa whether I have a teddiursa or not.

I don't like your style this game Desp, your speculation is all kinds of scummy.

He's going to turn out just like EP, getting himself lynched this often.

Funny, I was thinking EP's protege was David

EP hasn't managed to shoot his own side in the foot quite as badly as David has in any game that I've seen. I was starting to think that Niel was David's protege.

John, you've only played 2 games with me, that comment you made reeks of scummy not to mention you are still new and flailed like crazy after your recruit in BG's game. Just sayin

I think you are mafia because you are quick to point out I am acting the same way in my one game before when I was mafia when my one vote was obviously a joke because no one had even said anything at that point in the game to make anyone suspicious. You either think I am incredibly stupid to behave similarly to what got me in trouble when I was mafia before, or you are just ceasing on a piss-poor reason to cast suspicions on anyone you can - that seems scummy.

^Same reason.

What in the world are all of you smoking? I don't care whether or not anyone reveals, but if we had a RB'er of some kind block someone last night, then we have a great chance of catching scum today. I can't believe yall don't see that.

I also don't like how quick this train just suddenly built up on me, smells extremely scummy, like the mafia are working together to try and get me speedlynched. I wouldn't be surprised at all if there were already a couple of scum on my train. EP picked a crazy bogus reason to vote me, and BG should know better. Call it rolefishing if you want, but our job is to catch scum and I pointed out a possible way for us to be able to do that today.

No, I agree with that... Despo is acting almost a little too un-scummy for my liking...

So Vote Despo for me for now...

Also, I won't be around for the next 24 hours, as I am flying in plane

Oh and this post just reeks like crazy. Too unscummy? That's basically the "too-townie" argument, and it's extremely weak reasoning.

Vote Mat for now. I still doubt your pokeclaim, Chinchou or w/e it's called just doesn't fit your character hints from earlier in the game, all that stuff about liking the shadows.

Explain yourself. That's really scummy to just say a post pings and add a 4th vote to a fast growing train.

Despo, let me highlight for you what is odd about your post, shall I?

There are just too many nudges in your post.

"Could have been the Doc! Maybe not! Could have been a RB/Jailer! Did anyone do it? You don't have to say anything if you did."

It's prodding people to hint at what happened last night while insinuating you don't want them to reveal if they don't want to. Lull people into false sense of security by hinting at what they did without saying it outright. I think mafia want to know way more what happened than town really needs to know. A smart townsfolk will know when their info is most useful. In the last game I was in, a train got built and someone almost got incorrectly instalynched because it was found out they were roleblocked on a night nobody died. Turns out the mafia just shot at someone else who had a one time kill immunity.

You also say you will wait to vote for the pertinent info, which basically means you will wait to vote until someone admits to doing something last night. I don't like it.

Could you Doc fish any more blatanly?

Okay, I see your point on finding scum. However, the RB'er would be a target soon after. Also, Jail could've protected the right person, not blocked the right person, so it would be a lynch of a town and scum would likely NK the Jail.

I'm going to withhold my vote for now to see if anyone has any pertinent info of that sort, or any other sort for that matter.

This line is kinda unnessacary, looks like you're trying to justify not voting for anyone. If you have no scum reads, no need to do that. As someone told me, guilty people have a tendancy to try to justify their actions even if they're not suspect.

That's not what I was saying at all. I don't want people to hint at what happened last night. If they think they have a lead for us, they should claim imo. And while you bring up a good point about how there may be more than one explanation for why there were no NK's, if we found out that someone was RB'ed it would still give us a great lead to follow. I'm all for scumhunting, but in a game with this many inexperienced players, we could easily end up lynching another townie just because they make a couple of sloppy plays.

I mean, you just said someone ALMOST got instalynched because of a similar situation last game. I assume that means that they weren't, and they provided a valid defense and the town found a different target. If someone was RB'ed, but is able to present a reasonable defense, then we very well may look at other options. But this could still be a great avenue for us to explore.

As for the waiting to vote part, that was for many reasons. I said yesterday that with a smaller group of players lynches will happen fairly easily, so we might need to be more cautious in picking our lynch candidates. Plus, although I have a few people I think are looking scummy right now, I wanted to wait and look to see if there were more interactions I could pick up on between them and other players.

I just figured you would have. First of all, if someone said that I was a certain pokemon and I wasn't, I'd probably wanna make that very clear. Second, you normally respond to anything that has to do with you, so not commenting on that matter seemed odd to me

Are you kidding me? In what way am I docfishing?

It's true, if someone revealed it could give the mafia team a target, but no one else that is roled has revealed yet. If the mafia team don't know who the doc is, then having just one roled player out in the open wouldn't hurt us at all (since the healer could protect them), while also giving us a good lead to try and find scum

I'm going to withhold my vote for now to see if anyone has any pertinent info of that sort, or any other sort for that matter.

I never said I didn't have scum reads, and I already covered my reasons for saying what I said in one of my posts above.
