I don't like it. I think Wombat should stick with what he said to begin with. Counting a game retroactively when it started before the declaration of the scoreboard thing being brought back wouldn't be fair to the team that lost, since they possibly might have stepped it up more if they had known it was going to be counted.

 

Plus, it wouldn't be fair to those who didn't sign up for the game, that might have if they had known it would count towards the scoreboard total.

Wtf? I know I personally am going to take mafia games on this board even more serious than I did before. I always want to win, but now that there will be a scoreboard I really plan on busting out my A game for every game on here I sign up for. Either way, counting a game retroactively just doesn't seem fair. And I really don't like counting a game that started before that announcement, cause I might have signed up for that game then.

I don't know. I kinda want the standings to be about play only, but I don't want to provide a disincentive to mod. I will think about it.

For instance, if I've earned 10points by playing and 3 points for modding

That's true. Just curious. Maybe don't rank Mods but keep a count of games run for curiosity sake.

Yeah, what we could do is what BG said, and if you are open to this, we could rank the games, not to say this person's sucked or so on, but based on their rank, we could also give newer mods, such as me, advice on what to work on and how to make games better.

I would like to request to be left off the scoreboard. Before, without any stadnings or scoring, mafia was just for fun. But now it becomes one big ongoing competition, and that sucks a lot of the fun out of it for me. I'd rather play each game on its own merits, rather than spend the whole time worrying about how this will affect my spot on the scoreboard.
