[BASIC] Disney Mafia Game Thread - GAME OVER: SK WINS!

rand theres a difference between using Meta as a cruch and to use it as a reason to lynch people (ie: OMG Lily's lurking she must be scum) and using it as a gauge to help determine if someoen might be scum. i use the later and will point out meta i have on people but i never use the former or use it as my base for casing people and leading a lynch on them. its when Meta is relied on for hunting scum and lycnhign people that i have a problem with it.

 

 

2nd, linking is linking; stop trying to spin it as if you weren't doing just that. unless your scum you have no clue what my alignment is, so theres no if your town or if your scum variations. accusing two peopel of distancing on thread IS linking them.

 

and i say that you linking me because your entire case on me hinges on your assumption that song and i were distancing (ie: hinges on the fact you're linking 2 players together)

If town thinks your actions are scummy because your actions are admittedly scummy then interactions don't help cause they understand why someone was questioning you. That does not help town. True scum hunting with resulting reactions is what helps town.

 

4th - i don't change my playstyle, i play the same reguardless of role and alignment. so no it doesnt hide me as scum it just makes meta on me useless. whcih is just fine by me since i disagree with using meta as a way to determine alignments.

The problem with your theory is it hides you when you are scum. So you can't be too surprised when you get lynched early as town. It's your fault. You may be helping yourself in determining the alignments of others but you are helping town as a whole.

difference of opinion. scum generally look for a scummy interaction from a townie to lead a case agaisnt them on so they can look pro town. the scummy actions gives them a "legit" reason to apply pressure and makes them ppear scum hunting why allowing them to get a townie lynched. its called giving the scum enough rope to hang themselves with. it does help the town becuase the scum will over play their hands normally. like what Rand and yourself are doing. it also gives loads of info.

Red´s play style is questionable. Like someone said, townies would vote someone who plays scummy.

 

What is interesting right now is the people that have not voted. That is Darthe and Iron. Did someone mention that Iron is on a LoA? Nolder and AJ is voting Iza (is that your nick name?). It looks like they are either 1) trying to point at another direction than Red or 2) just placing their votes so it won´t look like they are inactive without taking a stand on the other things that have happened so far. 1. You just put it there, I said I was pretty sure. There is a difference between sure and pretty sure. You literally just agreed with what I was saying, this point is invalid.

Okay, I am here. Red... You normally ping me because of your general playstyle and so I tend to overcompensate for reasons that you would be town. Otherwise I would vote you every game =p. This game, however, you are doing something very un-Red-like. You're flailing. Due to this and the responses to it, Red, Song, and Rand have gained the top of my current scum list. It strikes me especially odd that Song has dropped off the face of the map an instant after pressure on her was let up. For now I would rather see a Red lynch. Tons of Info to be gained there.

Responding to Red's Wot: if you get that I'm skimming, that is definitely not the case, I'm taking notes every step of the way. I found your and Song's whole argument to be ridiculous, so I minimalized it to a talk about smilies and whatnot. I'm being honest here.

 

As for my comment on Nolder: with a vote, it's the thought that counts. Technically I wasn't the first to look at Iza, so I didn't claim to be. (But apparently I didn't read the rules either haha)

 

First of all, let me clear something up. In the rules, I said votes did not have to be bold and red, just distinguishable from the rest of the text.

 

1. I don’t care if votes are bolded and red or not as long as they are identified somehow. Be that pink, polka dotted, or plaid, I don't care. I follow along pretty closely, so be creative. However, you MUST unvote before placing another vote on a person.
   

 

So with that said, I'm counting Nolder's vote for now.

Tina: Not pushing elsewhere than Red, applying pressure. I'd like to see more from this Red/Rand/Song/Peace thing before deciding on it. Those are our main players and they've been the topic of discussion (and source) for Day 1 so far. I thought my vote was needed elsewhere for a little bit of variety. :)

 

Also, only so much can be said on a matter before they're just repeating the same stuff over and over and doing nothing but saying "GFY" ya know?
