Back to my thoughts.

- I hate WOTs, I skim them generally, no matter my alignment.

- It's not necessary to quote a whole page of quoting back and forth between the same people to respond. Odds are, nobody else has posted in the game and you're just going to be the post below them and la-di-da!

- Also, don't quadruple post just to get your post count up. It's a headache. Posts are quality not quantity, try to keep it sane.

AH: I ALMOST called you out when I saw you joke vote Rand but then you actually had a substantial post and voted Red. Also, how does that work exactly? Voting and unvoting and voting again in the same post? What's the point? *meh*

 

Red: I think you're a little off for what you called Song out for. How do YOU know what the tone of what she was saying was? I read it as a joke at first then you blew it out of proportion. I'm not defending Song on this, but I'm questioning your digging into one little comment. If anything, you two going at each other is more suspicious than what Song did in the first place.

 

And then Nolder stole my vote. I don't like how Izabella was chatting it up with Rand while Song and Red were going at it about the meaning of text on a page with or without smilies (ZOMG!!!). Vote Izabella

I like responding to certain posts and feel that they should be shown when I talk about a lot of things at once so there is no confusion. When I'm lazy I just sum it up but some people get mad at me when I do that :P

Red always starts games like these. Grabbing on to tiny things and blow them out of proportions just to see what reactions she gets. When I read the back and forth between Red and Song I got the same impression as Rand. Song often play aggressive but it felt like a forced argument. It was strange that as soon as he pointed it out both Red and Song voted him. I agree with Peace - Rand´s vote was not an OMGUS. That said I don´t like the "we got two scum, town" comment. Scum trying to look townie? AJ´s and Nolder´s votes on Izabella looks like a try to direct us all from Red´s train. Vote Red.

So we start out with Red and Song being all <3s and votes, then Red says:

 

Now between these two questions, I find Red’s more suspicious. Sure it has a smiley, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be serious. Red herself said in post #26 that “its easier for scum to hide under the joke phase and D1 is the most important day for info gathering in Mafia” and she seems to be trying too hard to point out what she did to make her question not seem serious.

Then there is also that no one would actually admit that they were anything other than town, which makes Red’s statement that Song was seriously trying to fish a bit odd. Why would she actually be expecting a response with a question like that?

 

you're twisting what i said. i meand its easier for scum to hide behind joke votes. and yes, i was making a big deal out of Songs post on purpose, this reason is the same as my reason for why i'd be epxecting a response as well. it was a trap. i did it to see not only who woudl latch onto it and try to push a case against me; but more importantly to see how they pushed a case agaisnt me with it. it's given us loads of info to mine through and takens us rather nicely out of the jokes and into the game.

 

and its not only about the cases but also who followed up with the spam. my ping on Song is just as hard as my ping on Rand. Song for latching onto my spammy post and further it; rand for the linking and being opportunistic

 

That seems a tad forced to me...

Song says it is fear mongering, Red calls it opportunistic, they both act as if it is ridiculous when a lot of the posts in this game so far have been them combatting back and forth. Fascinating.

 

Red says he OMGUSing when he was already suspicious and then had further reactions which he thought supported his thinking.

 

 

not ridiculous, opportunistic. while Songs actions we're scummy, i was pruposefully being more malodramatic about it than normal to gauge reactions. Rands reaction felt like scum trying to capitalize on town/town and push one lynch to set up the other. not to mention, directly linking players (like Rand and Peace started, then others have backed up) is dangerous. people are always so quick to think gambit that i think they sometimes forget scum like to link themselves with townies so their death isn't in vein. its even better when scum can link tow townies together over a scummy interaction.

which is why i say its OMGUS vote. he could have voted either of us, yet he chose to vote the person who had just voted for him. especially since, imo, his post felt like he was leaning toward casing Song mor than me.

 

You guys went from fighting (which seems completely forgotten now btw) to acting like any link is ridiculous. As Rand said, the reaction was what was interesting after the possible distancing was pointed out.

As for future lynches, we’ll have to see what reactions are then.

i fabricated the entire thing; i purposefully acted scummy to see who woudl latch onto it. like i said, its not so much as the fact he latched onto it, its how he went abotu doign it and how he used it. instead of using it to just attack me, he usedit to link me with another player; imo his focus was less on casing me over it and more with trying to set up lynches and using a townies scumminess to try and push a legit case.

All right, I withdraw the bit about Rand. I got the quotes mixed up there. However, I still wonder about what game you are playing regarding Red and Song. My money says that at least one of them is town, because it would not be a good scum strategy IMO for you to plant suspicion at two scummates at once, especially on D1. Planting suspicion on one teammate is understandable for distancing, but doing so on two scummates is too risky. This doesn't eliminate the chance of them both being town and you trying to set up multiple lynches.

 

And I had to look up "strawman routine.".

 

i agree with your previous casing on peace but dislike how quickly you backed down from your case. yours and peaces interaction is pinging and i dislike how your ignoring mine, songs and rands interaction and instead focusing on peace. especially since i think peace is playing puppet master.

i'm playing like normal and me doing what i did is not out of the ordinary and is expected.

 

you think Songs reaction felt forced, you agree with Peace and side with Rand yet it pings that Peace is linking myself and Song together.

 

you then claim that the vote on Bella was a distraction (cause Nols "vote" wasnt a vote you scummy skimmer) and then proceed to vote me even though admittedly i'm playing normally

First of all, let me clear something up. In the rules, I said votes did not have to be bold and red, just distinguishable from the rest of the text.

 

1. I don’t care if votes are bolded and red or not as long as they are identified somehow. Be that pink, polka dotted, or plaid, I don't care. I follow along pretty closely, so be creative. However, you MUST unvote before placing another vote on a person.
   

 

So with that said, I'm counting Nolder's vote for now.

I don't use scummy traits but I do post with no fear of being lynched when town. There's a difference. I never purposely act scummy although my actions may be interpreted as such. In the past, i've been way more careful when I am scum. Ask Ithi..she nailed me hard on that in the Labyrinth game.

Do you know how much you use meta! Anyways, I was only linking you and song together if you were mafia because I thought you might be distancing. If you truly are town, than I wouldn't be linking you. However, since you said I was linking you, this means that you are most likely scum. I like my vote where it is.
