I dont believe in calculations when your attempting to calculate something for a game of random chance. Thats going to be about as successful as trying to use math to win at a slot-machine.

A quick and odd thought. If Mynd and Marsh are on a team together and my deputy and I are (town aligned mind you), then why not assume that there are 4 teams of two scum? Other 4 could refer to there being four remaining scum. There could also be multiple other teams of two in this game. Who knows, some could even have powers in tandem with each other? Does anyone know more about how this sort of thing works?

This is close to what I believe.

So... four teams of two scum. Interesting. This would make my list from earlier go like this:

Italian Mafia: Two dead, 0 left.

MC: One dead, 1 left.

Tre Deuces: One dead, 1 left.

Unknown Mafia: none dead, 2 left.

On the town side:

Darthe and his deputy

Mynd and I

Other two-person teams?

The one hole in this theory that I see is this: the Mod has not said anything about us eliminating the Italian Mafia. In the last game I read with multiple anti-town factions, the Mod announced when one faction was entirely gone. It depends on the Mod in question, I guess.

Or, and this could just be me speaking out my bum here, you are wrong. Keep all options open my friend.

Mothers milk in a cup I had forgotten about that! You are probably right that it is teams of three or at least a team of three for the mafia group that Arez was in Marsh. Darn.

Ok: I just attempted a read through but didn't do the notes and stuff. Sorry; brain just could not handle that. Besides, it night now so wouldn't post all of my thoughts anyway.

Want basic views down

Mynd has been acting town but I've not been so certain about Marsh. Knowing how good a player Mynd is, they might have lost a teammate and want to appear safe townies now.

Ishy and Nae are gone? Don't remember noticing them.

Key, Tina and Hoof I am getting mixed views on.

I have no clue about Kaylee or Lenlo.

Piano, Basel and BG seem scummy to me.

Razen.... There was something about Razen... I can't remember right now.

The Darthe/Limi thing: this is really nagging me. Now we have the convenient redirector thing that is basically shielding anything that happens here. Something feels constructed about it still.

Ok, so we have 3, possibly 4 mafia teams. How would Arez have known if there were 4? I can't think of a simple explanation for that, but then again this game is far from simple. Any ideas? Or is that just pie being thrown to cover the windshield? As usual I believe nothing until I see it on a coroner report.

Now to see what morning brings

*goes to bed for real*

Hmmm... a series if double-powers with each role supported by a backup would be interesting. Perhaps each mafia team has a different power, and the team shares it?

Arez could have been WIFOMing us with the mention of four teams, or his team could have had a Watcher or some similar role. In a game this crazy, who knows?

I personally think this idea of 2 person scum teams sounds off to me. I also think there is/was a 3rd member to Mynd and Marsh's team. It seems a convenient cover story to me to claim you are on a team especially when Mynd implied SK, then claimed Vanilla, and now says Mason. The Sheriff/Deputy combo at least makes some sense given the nature of the two roles. But if Darthe is to be believed, with his ultra-powered cop role with a backup who knows everything he does, what's the point of having other Mason teams in this scenario?

If EVERYONE was on some sort of team, I could see this making sense, but from Mynd 1.0 and Nolder, it seems apparent this isn't true.

I notice you didn't mention yourself here. That means that you must be on some form of team but according to your theory there aren't any others besides scum and sheriff deputy. You just outed yourself.

I don't have teammates either. I just thought that was implied. I was just making a point out of data that was publicly available, since it is the only reliable data anyway.

So, I count four dead scum, two dead townies, and (assuming we believe the other mason group claim) 5 confirmed town that I know of.. Really knocks the numbers down eh?

I think whether there are four teams of two or three teams of three, I like our odds at this point. If myself or Ironeyes are killed, it would 100% validate the other. Darthe should be protected tonight, so they will likely NK someone else.....which will further narrow down our odds.

I'm still in this game, though I'm gonna have to do a lot of my gaming through Ironeyes via QT while I focus on the Avengers. I think we have this wrapped tightly though and I remain pretty confident with four mafia deaths by this time, we are gonna be in good shape.
