Mynd’s odds crap

The next post says that Darthe “agrees” with him, though the last line he slips in makes it seem that he knows it is a trap.

BG votes Firebird, Levity argues on the side of things that seem like they could be unlikely are possible and was all weird about it.

Limi says that what Mynd said made sense, but she didn’t vote Firebird.

Peace points out that Mynd said something about lists but then had no lists.

Nyn votes Firebird saying that “this plan is better than nothing.”

Nol gets worked up over Mynds “case” here.

Mynd says that there is no emotion in mafia and none is it is personal, Ishy backs him up on that.

I just want to note Piano’s post here. I’ve seen Mynd stir up stuff to ruffle feathers and get information, but the fact that he’s doing this time as well that doesn’t mean that he’s town necessarily. Nol counters Piano as well.

I join the game, Nol doesn’t love me, I noticed Lenlo for the first time right after I joined in...

 

BG backs off saying that he knew Mynd was just ruffling feathers.

Nyn defends her vote on Firebird again here saying D1 votes are random, we wouldn’t get anything from people’s reactions D1 anyway, and slips in the last minute that Firebird’s calm is making her feel weird, and then here she says she has no reason and seems to say that the alternative to going with these odds is to “close her eyes and pick a name from the list”

 

Chrissy said earlier that Mynd was being a heavier version of himself, and here she says he’s not being himself and wonders why he’s not voting Nyn. Immediately he votes Nyn. Nae votes Mynd.

 

Back and forth and back and forth and other people simply watch. Mynd vs. Nol and Mynd vs. Chrissy.... He switches his vote back to Firebird here.

 

This is where I got so fed up that I left. Am now finishing my reread even though it is now night

 

Ishy defends Mynd... Firebird is indeed mafia.

 

Here Ishy seems to think that this confirms Mynd as town. Lenlo is in shock. More arguing over what happened. Blackhoof has a big reaction to Firebird being mafia, and thinks that the whole thing between him and Mynd was fabricated?

 

People don’t like Mynd, people don’t like Ishy, people don’t like Hoof, people don’t like Nol.

So? Nothing wrong with crazy schemes. I've gone along with my fair share and attempted a few myself. At very least, they draw in reactions, and at most catch scum right out.

I don’t trust BG or Mynd because of those crazy scemes. BG is good at pulling elaborate claims out of his huge hat :P

 

Mynd focuses on Nol. Ishy deviates from Mynd.

I doubt that EP would carry it so far as to actually use a word that he knew would insult Mynd..and I doubly doubt Mynd would have responded in game. He most likely would have discussed it with EP in scum chat. And EP wouldn't haven't gotten upset enough to follow up with dissallowed posts that got him Mod killed.

 

Either you haven't really thought through your theory or you are rationalizing because you fear Mynd for some reason.

Peace doesn’t like Hoof’s post. I’m just going to point out that Firebird didn’t necessarily know that that word would spark something with Mynd.

Everyone jumps in and jumps on Nolder when the deadline draws near. Most without explaining their reasoning behind it. So...

Tress--has been quieter than usual and votes Nol without reasoning (if you had at some point and just didn’t red and bold--sorry I didn’t notice it and correct me)

Marsh--votes without reasoning.

Razen--had reasoning to my satisfaction

Kaylee--voted Nol with enough reasoning

Darthe--jumps on Nol

Kae--jumps on Nol

Nyn--jumps on Nol to not miss deadline

Key--votes Nol but I remember her saying that she didn’t like him before

 

Nol reveals as Vig, which has a bit of a problem with guilt. Hoof buys it. Nol does not like Mynd and wants to kill him. Key believes he could be anti-town. Kae agrees with Key that Mynd might not be the best person to kill. Mynd doesn’t believe the claim, nor BG. Back and forth and around in circles....

 

Marsh revotes Nol. Back and forth more.... Piano hammers. Nol was telling the truth

Ok, so based off of this so far, something feels off about Nyn. I get she’s going through school craziness too but some of her reasoning has just seemed off to me.

 

BG and Ishy were in the thick of things with Mynd, going along some of the stuff he said and deviating other times. Just want to note that.

 

Hoof's reaction was still interesting to me. That explanation was buyable (maybe) but...

 

Tress has been much quieter than usual. I remember her saying that she just didn't like how hostile it was but once again it is just sticking out.

 

Right now I'm going to vote Ishy because it seemed to me that there was something strange about the way that he defended/followed/[insert word of choice here] Mynd yesterday.

Looks like we have 7 that meet the criteria. I personally think the first 3 are the strongest possibilities.

 

I think Mynd being Nk'd gives even more credence to his theories about scum on the latter Nolder train or defending EP. I think the defending EP group is more telling though so I am going to start off by VOTING LITTLE MISS. As she is the first on the list I made. But I'd be happy to look at Ail Heart or Darthe too.

Either way... EP's team seems to have not liked Mynd "outting" him as scum even though he may have survived the accusations had he not gotten himself modkilled.

@Peace - Yeah, because he was acting very calm considering his lynch count. I wasn't the only one saying so, and I am not exactly sure how that makes me defending him... if anything it was a... oh he IS acting a little scummy/weird, which would have made me inclided to vote for him.

 

I actually agree on the Ishy part, only because I felt that he jumped back and forth between Nolder and Mynd... now, while they were both innocent, it just struck me as a little odd in defending way. It is safe I guess.

I didn't jump back and forth between them at all. The points I was addressing were two completely different ones. In Mynd's case, I was agreeing with his reasons for voting EP and didn't think he should be lynched for it. In Nolder's case, I agreed with him about his stance on the "nastiness." I won't get into that because it's rightly been laid to rest. Two separate issues and to attempt to link them together is disturbing to say the least.

I'm here, Ishy. I just finished going through the entire thread. And I am comfortable picking up where I left off.

 

i do not think that you are scummy for this theory mynd, but i would hasten the town to avoid this fallacious gambler's logic, lest we lose all our money to the house.

 

Except that Mynd hit the jackpot, and found scum successfully. This could be taking issue with Mynd's theory. But... it could be an attempt to keep EP from gtting lynched to protect his scummate.

 

I do not think that mynds theory was malicious in purpose, merely misguided and suspicious for trying to justify a random vote. I am wary of BG for attempting to justify it further.

 

But, BG has removed his vote, and nyn hasn't. She maintains a vote on EP because "someone has to go anyway".

Seriously though, im not mad, just mystified. Mynd either got very lucky with his guess or he wove the whole theory, knowing that people would argue about it, and he picked EP (a scummate of his) as the target to vet him!

Hoofy was the seventh vote for Mynd here, is that bandwagoning? Is he hopping on a convenient train or trying to eliminate Mynd cause he has already found one scum and could find more? The seventh vote would be right in the middle, a good place to bury a vote. It also seems like a very intense reaction, and the bit about picking EP as a teammate to vet himself sounds very adamant. Too adamant for me to buy it, in fact. Especially in light of Mynd's flip.

Oh, Ishy, I did some experimenting last weekend and figured out an awesome mix. Blue curacao goes astoundingly well with Mountain Dew. It tasted great, and had the double bonus of booze and caffeine in one punch. *has been a total caffeine junkie for years before my first taste of booze*
