I think that is who created what role, not who is holding the role.

I think some of the votes on Christine bear looking at, because she has the Lie Detector role, which mafia would certainly want to get rid of. Nolder's seems the most notable to me. The first 2 votes were mosty likely joke votes, and Wombat's was likely to see who would jump on that train.

 

Christine is the one who brought up looking at anti-town roles, though, which would put her in the clear today being that she has a very town role. Also of note.

It's a good point, Basel, but I highly doubt that, if our role is listed on the first page, and it's the role we have today, and it's the role we submitted, then it is likely everyone is that way.

 

 

At least, that is what I assumed.

I agree with Alanna that Christine does seem pretty town. Either that, or Alanna is trying to save her teammate. Hmm. See, we all may have started with the role we submitted, but that doesn't say a thing about alignment. I think we might want to look at which role is least valuable today. I'm on my way out, but I'll give that some thought and likely change my vote tomorrow.

UNVOTE. VOTE NOL. Putting that 4th vote on Christine seemed like hopping on a bandwagon, and your reason was weak sauce. It read too much like you were trying to make it sound jokey, when a fourth vote is halfway to lynch.

1. It was definitely a bandwagon vote. I like to put a lot of pressure on people ASAP and bandwagoning with weaksauce reasoning is a good way to do it. However it is my opinion that should anyone use this tactic they should own up to their own poor reasoning upon question or face misunderstanding.

2. The reasoning may be weak but it's still something IMO and I want to see where this goes. Besides Christine is as good a lynch as anyone else isn't she?

 

That depends. Is lynching the lie detector role as good as lynching, say, the gambler role?

And, question, but what happens to the roles when the person dies? Does the role go away? Or, does it go away if the person that made it died? What happens to the roles?

I think the least valuable/potentially most damaging roles are the ones where the person does something and gives a power to whoever gets the role next. Since there are obviously more town players than Mafia, the likelihood of a townie accidentally empowering a Mafioso is very high. And the scum aren't going to fulfill the requirement so that they can rob the town of a role the next day.

Yes, Pandy did confirm that we all have our roles to day, i.e., the roles we submitted. So for today, at least, we know who has what role.

Actually, I think it's interesting that Lily said that, because I never actually said that. Or at least I didn't intend to. I said Christine has a very town role today, the Lie Detector role. It doesn't mean she's town. Though if my theory about the mafia trying to lynch her for her role, it is likely she's not mafia. Unless they don't mind sacrificing one of their own to get rid of that role.

Ironeyes, the thing about Jesters is that they're not so much a role as a combination of third-party alignment (ie. not town or mafia) and win condition (get lynched to win). Neither alignments nor win conditions rotate in this game, because that get silly fast.
