I don't think that EP is lying when he says that he is vanilla town - however, the way he has made his case makes everyone and their grandmother look like scum for their actions up to this point.

 

EP is pinging hardcore to me, but at the same time, I think all the pings are coming from EP trying to stir the pot, get the game going. I have the feeling he probably is vanilla town, but the way he's reacted to the votes he's gathered isn't very town-ish...so I'm unsure as to what I'm doing with my vote.

As Sakaea has pointed out, EP has reacted in a very anti-town way with the case upon him by making this into a kind of WIFOM situation. Are the people on his train mafia that thought they could get an easy lynch but have had their plan foiled by the way he reacted, or are they townies that thought he was scum for the way he reacted to the votes against him? That doesn't matter now. Now, regardless of their position on the EP train, they look scummy. And everyone not on the EP train looks scummy. No matter what, it looks to me that this situation benefits the mafia more than it does the town.

 

I think that the best way to go would be to see how EP flips and then look back at people's reasoning to determine whether they were mindlessly bandwagoning, or whether they voted for a pro-town or pro-scum reason. The confusion factor will not go away by keeping him around, as we don't even know if he's town or not. He could be mafia trying to make everyone look scummy to help his team out while he's going down. So, in the interest of trying to get to the bottom of this mystery, I am going to unvote, vote: EP.

Just catching up on my lunch break sir.

 

You've really put yourself in a pickle haven't you? Tbh, I think you're telling the truth when you say you're vanilla. But you spun events to a point where you're the only viable choice today. Have no one to blame but yourself, I never made a case against you, only defended against the weak one you made against me. You made your own case on yourself single-handedly.

 

I do suppose, however, that if you wanted to try a new playstyle, doing it as vanilla in a basic game is the best time to do it, but you have to expect the consequences when it backfires. It's all on you at this point.

 

And no, I won't be hammering right now. Not going to allow you to dictate my game when you decide to switch up your game and get yourself lynched.

I was ready for lynch b4 starting this I did not expect to make it this far with this ploy to completely confuse mafia as to which option to take people let me go to long unlynched lol

You really did cause a lot of issues. The only winners in a WIFOM situation are the real scum, because the suspicion gets spread around.

I'm currently involved with 4 active games on 2 different sites. Not as impressive as some of the numbers, but I'm also working on my basic Disney game and I'm trying to put together an advanced game based on the Tales series of video games.

2 points I would like to make here:

 

1. Hoofy - why would he say be trying to lay low and then tell us that he's laying low? I see two reasons why he'd want to lay low, one of which is good for town, one of which is good for scum. Or it could be that he would like to survive past Day 1.

2. Ishy - why would he tell Hoofy to be quiet and not post? And if he views it as suspicious, why did he not place his vote there?

 

And then the exchange between Nol and EP:

Another 2 points:

1. Nolder - I agree with the points about laying low and not. And I am also wondering why that is the case. Scummates, perhaps? I doubt they'd make it that easy on Day 1 though. And I can think of a couple of town-oriented reasons that Hoofy would want to lay low on Day 1. But pointing out that you're trying to lay low is probably the worst way of doing that.

2 EP - It's interesting how he brings up Ishy's response and how Nolder didn't address that. When asked, he said that it's interesting how EP is linking Ishy and Hoofy. In my opinion, it's not really linking them by pointing out Nolder's lack of comment on Ishy's response. What is interesting is how Nolder deflects the question.

 

I think that Ishy and Nolder should be watched a little bit more. Ishy has a couple of votes on already, so I will place my vote upon him as well to see what, if anything, shakes out. Unvote, vote Ishy.

For the record, I thought Hoof was being sarcastic with his statement about sleeping so he doesn't die, and that Ishy was being funny with his response.

 

Can't they talk privately anyhow if they're scum? More interesting, in the next line Kaylee seems to encourage it. I suppose we will see.

Ok everything that really pinged me before I took my play into full swing there is ALOT of darthe in this I only got the one thing on Ishy so it could very well be a joke but Hoof could be mafia trying to sound town at this point also of note razen lies low and tried to latch on to the ishy thing ASAP (not sure when he unvoted as I stopped at where I started my play but I'm pretty sure he bandwagoned me) Then there is Ironeyes voting someone not even in the game i mean wtf players are posted on first post

Ok when Ishy pointed out Darthe's slip up on the vote/quote why did Darthe not switch? No one questioned that...

 

Key was one of maybe 2 votes that I did not bring on myself but she had a valid point with how I worded my vote on Ishy so she is low on my radar atm

 

Nol I'm unsure of Not sure where you stand Nol.

 

Hoof's adamantness of lieing low on day 1 pings alot as he made several posts to state he was doing so

 

As I stated in the above post Razen's lieing low and giving a convienient excuse for doing so and then out of no where latches on to my Ishy vote even tho he discredit's Nol's behavior

I'd say your big people to watch atm would be Darthe Hoof and Razen but that's just based on before I made my move to get the ball rolling as everything post is people debating whether or not to lynch me so I'll look at that if I survive if not it's up to you guys to sift through.
