this game is interesting. Mynd's being his typical self so no read on him yet, but Key and AH's reaction to his smacks are worth noting.

 

Key - jokes back

 

AH - gets on the immdiate defensive and starts jumping all over the place from attacking back to attempting to joke back.

 

 

i'm watchign these two a bit more to form an opinion on them, gut reaction makes me want to apply more pressure to AH though.

I can completely see where Mynd is coming from. However, I haven't played in a game where it's started at night either, so I can see why Key would comment on that point as well. The countdown timer is not ticking anymore, from what I've picked up, but will be in the future rounds. Again, I can see both sides of the argument here, so I'm not sure what to think yet.

Most games I've played in, the mafia are eager to play and often the most active with rare exception.

 

What they also like to do is set up an accusing player at night for a kill only to pin the death on the one he accused of being scum. I completely pulled this case against Key and AH out of my arse, yet Cosmic Panda AND Razen both see what I mean?

 

I think we lynch one of them at daybreak!

Sorry I wasn't here yesterday ya'll! It's my birthday today and I was busy going here and there all day. I'll be out most of today too, but I should be back this evening.

 

These are all the posts that I have made in the game. It's not the greatest number, but not once did I mention AH in any of my posts. Such a blatant misunderstanding/lie. I don't know if you are the lyncher and I'm the target, or if you are just scum, but either way, it's bad for us townies. Vote: Mynd.

 

Considering the fact that he started out messing with me and then AH, I find it interesting that you jump right to this conclusion. It seems to me as if he's stirring the pot to see what comes out.

 

I am a fan of the discussion he's provoked thus far, so I'm willing to see where it goes before I vote Mynd.

My take is that it's between Razen or Cosmic Panda. Both said I had a point yet neither have produced a sound argument of what point I exactly had when I went after Aiel Heart and Key. I made the whole thing up yet they both bandwagoned on it as if I made sense. I've done this trick before and outed both a goon and a mafia symp on Day 1.

 

Remember, the mafia don't want to stand out, they want to blend in and push for a lynch on a townie. I have no idea if Key or Aiel Heart are townies, but I find the ease at which Razen and Cosmic Panda joined my farce to be quite suspicious!

Not true at all. One can learn a lot by past games and scenarios. One has to, or we are all doomed to repeat the same errors we've made before. I've been able to gauge one's scumminess simply on how different they play in one game verses the past, hence Red not posting as much as she normally does or Talya agreeing with me. Nothing is absolute, but if it worked before, why not try it again?

These are the posts that struck me as AH trying to play both sides against the middle. Why have these posts separate if they are the joke they appear to be? The only reasons I can think of is to 1) later come back and use them separately or 2) she realized she had just come out calling scum on people and would look bad if/when they flipped town. Hence the second post as a means of damage control.

What's wrong with asking about his 100% certainty? If he was the cop, why didn't he just vote Aemon from the get go? Also, if you were town and figured he was soft-claiming cop, why out him like this? Besides, no cop posts that they are 100% and not expect people to ask why. That's just absurd.

 

It almost seems like Cosmic Panda is trying to protect the lynch building on Razen, and Sakaea is throwing interference. If we wanna test Cosmic's theory, let's do it - but I'm beginning to feel stronger about the Razen lynch now.

AH you know i don't post during the weekands. and actually it wasn't tomfoolery as actual scum hunting (or the apperance of scum hunting) was going on. its one thing if it's just a bunch of checking in and joke votes, and another if peopel are actually throwing out cases and pressure.

Caught up, and I'm going to forgo the usual WoT since I don't need to rehash the points others have made.

 

I'm of the opinion that Razen or Aemon are our best lynch bets. I think that Mynd's usual style might have nabbed Razen it its web. I also think that if Aemon flips scum we learn a little more about PandaMan.

 

Though I must say, haveing CosmicPanda and another player with a Panda pic confuses me when browsing... *glares at Arez*

Actually, if he is the cop, YOU outed him. He posted that he was 100% sure Aemon Kristen but nothing else to that effect. I simply asked him to clarify. It was you who actually went there publicly with the soft-cop claim. If I were the cop, I wouldn't wanna even hint about it on Day 1, or what is kinda Day 2 in this game.

I wouldn't exactly call the first three pages as tomfoolery. It was a legitimate tactic to try and entrap mafia into bandwagoning on a ridiculous accusation. The reactions of those should be taken seriously, so let's not be too quick to dismiss them.

 

My gut is saying that there is a tactic at work to take attention off the Razen lynch; however, if we want to test Cosmic Panda's 100% certainty, then we lynch Aemon.

Yes, I cased Razen and didn't vote for him. It was obvious that everyone else suss'd him already and that that was the direction the day was going. Wanted to see if applying pressure to Mynd would yield any results. Silly me. I still think his ridiculous, intentionally so, early day one back and forth with Key was a little over-the-top, but Razen's reaction to it was even more so.
