Nolder, thanks for the Lannister!

I think by the op there must be Joffrey in as well. Joffrey being who he is, he wouldn't be safe until all the houses have been removed, so there's a kind of unmentioned mafia there, as far as the houses save perhaps Lannister are concerned, referencing the above by perf.

I somehow feel, is the cult and a possible vigilante enough that otherwise the houses just try to whack off each other?

And I still feel nothing like voting.

Alright, 2 things.

1. Tina is pinging me on the Greyjoy thing. Pushing that just a little hard. I mean, it's one thing to kind of breadcrumb who you are, but you're just going for overkill, as though... There is 32 people in this game, not enough to have all of house Greyjoy as part of the characters. I am betting that the role you were given as a fake claim is a Greyjoy. So, yeah.

2. I never thought I would agree with Red, but FoS Nolder. THIS post. I have no idea who else is in my faction. I am more than certain that I am not the only one like that. Given that statement, it seems to me as though you must known who is in your faction, which means you are probably a hindrance against others.

Unvote: Red

VOTE: NOLDER

it's funny that you take my question as confirmation that I'm aligned with anyone when it's just as likely I asked because I have no idea how the factions work and was digging for info

just looking for an excuse to pile on pressure obviously

Unvote: Panda

Vote: Christine

I've got to agree with the Nolderp here. Christine's drawing short-sighted conclusions about why Nolder would have asked that question. The fact she's played way more games with him than I have, and I see what he was doing and she doesn't makes me question her actual agenda... seems like she's building a presumptuous case on an easy lynch candidate. When the reality is he just asked a trap-style question to see how peeps react.

If we were to lynch either of them, I'd go Christine. Frankly, IF Nolderp is up to no good, it will become obvious sooner than later, and he's easy to take out later. For now though, I am getting a strong town read on him.

Actually I think that the world scummy might not fit in this game since it doesn´t look like we have a mafia.

I disagree. Here is a quote from the original signup thread:

As the subtitle implies, there will be at least 5 factions. Also, the lines between scum and town will be blurred, and about half of the game will be scum.

Now, it does appear that he went with more, and possibly smaller factions than originally intended, but he did not go from "about half of the game will be scum" to no scum. I find it suspicious that you are trying to make us believe there is no mafia.

I think this is a terrific post.

Posted

jokes about my skill aside the game reads like multiple survivor teams so I don't know that there is necessarily an ideal day 1 lynch.

my question is do some of the teams know who their teammates are because I don't. Perhaps the teams who know their partners are considered the "scum"?

In my case the game is quite hard to strategize for because without knowledge of my mates, I could be involved in lynching them.

Interested to see if there are any conversions during a night phase or other surprises.. Wormbats eagerness to set a deadline leads me to believe that might be the case.

Oh and I'm awesome.

Been awhile since I played here so not much to Meta on other than you being an ape that is fun to kill, pac being a mule that is fun to kill, nolder being nolder easy to kill and tx being hess and not so much fun to kill but fun anyways.

Tinahell and Christine seem to stick out to me. I agree with Nolders post being set to draw a reaction as well as him being a soft target.

To the bold: Gross, count me out.

In general, to you and everyone else pumping the game full of set-up chatter, it's scummy. Setup chatter is always presumptuous, and never serves to do anything this early on but mislead town. Even when town is doing the talking. I don't like it.

The biggest offender is Tina for stating there may be no scum... when the MMMMMMODBAT clearly stated there is scum in the game.

For that, she should die first. Let's kill her, and then let Pac figure out the whole game, and then kill him and let him throw a fit for being ignored.

Hmmmm... weird. At JN I hear a muttering bar clanking primate with a superiority complex chattering and fling feces when you speak. Here you actually make a ton of sense . Tina today or Christine to a lesser extent and kill Pac as soon as he starts enjoying himself. We can even start a thread at JN mocking him after his death and my fatness is starting to jiggle just thinking about it.

Posted

I think Tina is acting slightly scummy and could vote for her. Christine is also sticking out. Like I said earlier, Nol appears to be day 1 town. He's easy to spot as scum.

I don't have time to look through the thread for anything solid since I have to go run some errands for work. I'll hopefully have time during lunch and after 3 this afternoon.

I would be okay with a Tina lynch, though at this point I prefer Christine. When I got on today to read up on what I'd missed last night, Christine's post stood out to me. I believe she is the first person to state that Tina was trying to claim Greyjoy, rather than look for one. Reads like skimming or put a spotlight on Tina. But despite that she votes for nolder, reads weird.

In fact, unvote, vote Christine.

I can actually see how Tina could read Soy as being a Greyjoy from that post. I don't exactly agree (it was very obvious if it was a hint), but I can see it. I still am curious as to why she's so insistent on finding a Greyjoy though.

Posted

Ok, seriously, I don't get how others don't see Tina acting wierd about looking for Greyjoys. In my eyes, she is fake claiming and trying to get into their little group, then can ride till the end and claim her real role.

As for why I voted for Nolder, it's because I think his post is odd. And you all say that he seems Day 1 town?

1. What is town in this game? It's all of us against each other, right?

2. Nolder seems town? THIS IS A SIGN!

i'm looking at this game like Kiv's GoT mafia. each house/faction being a mafia, and it being the faction who gains the most #'s being the winner. the strategy is simple; get rid of people who arent' in your faction and apply pressure onto those who you don't think are in your faction,

eventually, it should become clear who is with what faction; giving us all more info on who better the lynch. obviously on D1, the first faction to have a member of their house lynched will be at a disadvantage and less likely to draw support.

atleast thats how i'm taking this game right now. so while there no "scum" in the normal sense of the word, anyone not in your faction or aligned with your faction is scum to you.

the ape is defending Nol, duely noted. mayhaps you feel he's in your faction and don't want your team 1 down to begin with.

i'd also be good with a Chrissy lynch for reasons already stated by others.

Tina pinged my gut as a Greyjoy as well; i dunno if her changing her story to "i thought he was a greyjoy hence my vote" is legit or her just cyaing tbh. they might both be greyjoys pulling some gambit to try and fish out unknown memebrs of their house for all i know.

I picked this post to answer but I could have picked others too. Like someone above said - I have also looked at this game as Kivam´s asoiaf game. Many groups, where everyone want to kill the members of the other teams. I´m not interested in specifically finding the Greyjoys. I´m interested in lynching people that are not on my own team. It is clear to me that Soy is not on my team. How do you "happen" to write that post mentioning grey and joy if you are not trying to make a signal to teammates? It seams like not many shares my opinion that we should lynch Soy today and if it so I might have to vote someone else later but although others had hinted their teams too, Soy is the most obvious one and I´m sticking with him for now. Where is Soy btw?

Frankly, I've got a great track record reading Nolder and I trust my read that he is not doing what he does as scum. End of story. If you want to spin that as me defending him, fine. I think it says more about you that you'd spin it as someone sticking their neck out for the easiest lynch in the game. You want to run him up, go ahead. I'm just not feeling it. As for the insinuation that I think he might be in my faction, that comment is pure ill-informed conjecture.

Long story, short... It's D1 in what should be a complex game. I'm not making ANY presumptuous posts about the setup, like you and many others have. I'm handling D1 like it should be handled. Get raw reads on people, and lynch the person who seems most divisive agenda.

Tina fits that bill, imo.

The more I re-read this post from you, the more I feel it is ear-marked with signature scum sentiments. Multiple people have expressed a town read on Nolder, you single out me though and insinuate I'm defending a scum mate. Typical thing for scum to do. Ping. You echo cases that are already on the table having been made by others, offering no position of your own. Ping. The the piece de resistance... you take 2 people that are in the majority's crosshairs and suggest a possible gambit. Ping.

If we don't lynch Tina, then my #2 choice is you.

Posted

Ape, it isn't defending someone if you simply point out the facts.

I agree with you on Tina, but I still suspect Nolder. His line is scummy to me. I would gladly vote for Tina as well, but I can only choose one, and so my choice is Nol, for now.

Yeah, to you people that ask me why I didn't vote for Tina when I thought she was scummy, I can only have one vote at a time. If I could have two, the second would be on Tina, but I had to choose one, and Nolder always seems to end up scummy. So, get off my back.

The longer that this continues, I am seeing more defensiveness from Tina over Nolder, so my opinion on who is sketchier is shifting, but I am not ready to make that move yet.

Posted

@ Nol, to the point, because your comment screams of you being on a Faction QT and the best way to get the factions narrowed down is to elimnate those on the QT's and i know your not in my faction

Let me see if I get this. You are voting Nolder cause he suggested people should know what faction they are aligned with and yet you unvoted Red when she admitted she knew Nolder was not part of her faction.

Contradiction?

don't care 2 shakes about your track record on reading Nol. for all i know, the people who have these "town" reads on Nol are in his faction and tryign to prevent him from getting lynched. the only way to find out is to take my big stick out and beat the grass.

in this game, town = someone in your faction; scum = those not in your faction. i'm not making persumptions about the game set up, just pointing out what i infered from my own role pm and what womby has posted on thread.

to the underlined - it's not ill-formed, its actually a very logical conclusion.

you having a "town" read on him, says to me you believe him to be in your faction; hence the only reason why you would jump to his defense and side with him against those of us voting him.

Long story, short... It's D1 in what should be a complex game. I'm not making ANY presumptuous posts about the setup, like you and many others have. I'm handling D1 like it should be handled. Get raw reads on people, and lynch the person who seems most divisive agenda.

your taking a less proactive approah to it though Ape, where as i'm being antagonistic about it by poking, prodding and pullign out my flame thrower. why so cautious??

Tina fits that bill, imo.

then lets get a good second wagon going on her. the more pressure, the more info.

your the first to side with Nol against the reason people are voting him, this is different than just posting "meh he reads like town" btw, i'm not echoing cases already sated on Nol, as i'm the one that started this case against Nol if you go back and look. and i wouldn't count myself so popular if i was you, Tina and Chrissy seem to be 2nd and 3rd after Nol as far as lynch candidates. so stop making it lok like mroe than there is.

not to mention my pointing out your blatant defense of Nol is the first actual game related reason anyones come up with yet to put you in the spotlight, and in all consideration, thats not much considering the lovely pings Tina and Chrissy have done.

if i'm your 2nd choice, i welcoem the pressure. bring it Ape; i need retribution for the last GoT game anyways

Unvote, vote Tina

Both Tina and Christine are coming off as scummy to me, but I'm going to vote for Tina because of the Greyjoy thing. I think her posts make it seem like she's looking for Greyjoys for some reason, and that disturbs me. The only reason I can think of to be looking for Greyjoys is something along the lines of if you find a Greyjoy you become aligned with that house and are possibly granted some kind of power. It reeks, (pun intended).

Yes your name. reminded me of the little girls in the Shining chanting redrum. I make no apologies for being afraid of you.

While my first post,(which was actually my 2nd), may seem strange, you would be mistaken to underestimate my abilities. I have a knack for blowing up scum teams in quick order.

I'm only trying to help.

I stand corrected rolleyes.gif

mmeesh, I think you overlooked an earlier post. Don't have time to check right now, but Tina asked about the Greyjoys earlier on already. Boyo's "joy joy" is more his way of speaking than any kind of allusion to the greyjoys, imho.

I think we've established at this point the hint was obvious. He said "grey" earlier in the same post. Obvious.
