So yeah,

 

Welcome to the BT Athena :). At least I can give you style points when you get all creative in the Triv game now.

 

Tell us all about yourself and suchlike. What other groups are you in? Where are you up to in the WoT books? What are your thoughts and feelings about the final book? Why on earth would you want to support the Light here, when you could have far more fun exploring your Shadowy side.

Thanks all of you for the lovely welcome! I can feel the Taint starting to do its work already.

First of all, I know I said I wanted to fight for the Light - that was because I thought I probably should if I was a goddess and a novice of the WT. And I like the idea of being a hero.

 

But I certainly love all kinds of mischief and madness - kind of "Loki style" and sympathetic bad-guys (or flawed antiheros with a spark of redemption) will always get my vote over the Galad types.

 

Well, as to Ithi's questions (hey I get to call her Ithi now since she's not in the WT hehehe), I belong to only two other groups - the Artists and Crafts Guild and the White Tower. I only belong to three groups because I like to spend a while in each trying to get to know people and participating so I can't join too many else I won't have any time at all. I've read all the books in the Wheel of Time series and am re-reading them at the moment (up to Knife of Dreams now). I wish Jordan hadn't died because I don't like Sanderson's style of writing as much as Jordan's, but I think he still does a good job even if he doesn't quite understand Mat, Siuan or Nynaeve as well as the original creator. I'm sure the last book will be everything we've all been hoping for though, especially as the last 40000 words were written by Jordan so the end will be perfect of course.

 

Other random facts about myself: I am a passionate self-taught artist, I love all kinds of fantasy, I may roleplay occasionally and I am obsessed with Tom Hiddleston (Loki from the "Thor" and "Avengers" movies).

Unfortunately, balefire can sometimes be the only way to deal with those things... :baalzamon:
