I have the same problem. Both of my boys are tall and skinny. The temps have taken a big dive here in just two days. My youngest needed jeans, a jacket and shoes. He also outgrew his Fire Explorer uniform and that(including boots) was over $100. He needed new Boy Scout pants too. He's getting braces next week and we are paying $300 a month towards a spring break trip for high schoolers back east.

Kids are expensive little monsters, aren't they? I keep hoping it'll get cheaper, but it only gets more expensive. :)

Went walking in the park with a friend. Watching football at home and then baking chicken breasts and potatoes. Going to a local movie at a community center to commemorate Kristallnacht.

I took the girls to the Children's Book Festival yesterday and met the lady who wrote Pinkalicious! Peanut got her book signed and her first author photo (I'm starting her a famous people collection!), but the pair of them ran me ragged yesterday! I picked Tadpole up so much I think I messed my back up (yay).

Today, I spent time organizing my coupons, which I haven't done in weeks. Then we flew through grocery shopping and came back home. Pretty hum drum. However, I get to go play BUNCO on Tuesday night. Yay!

Bunco is fun! I think that is a great idea of starting her a collection with authors. Years ago i had a friend that did that, he would write famous authors, psychologists, physicians. They would either sign their books or send a letter back with a signature. He planned to auction them off for his son's college tuition. He even had BF Skinner's signature.

I slept in, had a nice homemade brunch and went walking at a new park with a friend. We did a little shopping. My son and I cleaned and organized the living room. Mostly, because of my back, he did and and I provided directions. I've been watching football too.

That's really cool! Did his son enjoy it?

Being a teacher I can get a lot of folks to respond, but I don't go nuts with it. I prolly should spend my summer this year changing that... *ponders* Of course, I'm wondering if I can get someone's attention with a few of these units... *ponders more*

Sleeping in... I vaguely remember how to do that. I managed to make it to 8 last weekend in Atlanta the day after the conference...

I get to sleep in every day. It has been helping me heal. My neighbor drives my son to school every day.

oooo, that's awesome! Sleeping in is one of those things that you don't realize how much your body needs until you go without it for a while.

I'm having a nice weekend. Lots of football and last night we went to a friends and had pizza, dessert and watched a movie. Today, hunkering down at home, tea or hot chocolate, more football and walking at the gym this evening along with sitting in the hot tub.

I had a rough weekend, but that's over and I'm not focused on it, anymore.

This weekend, I'm heading out of town for the holiday, followed by my MiL having a stint put in her heart the Monday after Thanksgiving. *sighs* Then Dana's going out of town the weekend after. Yes, this is the beginning of a WACKO couple of weeks for me. NaNo is dead for me. *sighs*

Had a great Thanksgiving!!! Hope all the Kinsters who celebrate had a wonderful time.

Cleaned house. Went out to breakfast. Having friends over for dinner and to watch the USC/Notre Dame game. Long live USC!

My kids sleep later, here. They have both slept until nearly 8 am the last few days. At home, they're up as close to 6 as possible!

I hate getting up early and at least my kid at home can get ready himself.

Just got a hair cut. Off to the gym, then watch some football and a friend's holiday party tonight.
