When you wake up this morning, it is to the sound of horrified screams and shouts. Not bothering to put on your day clothes, you run outside and stop dead at the sight that greets you.

 

Houses are burning, all over the village, sending plumes of thick, black smoke into the dawn sky. You look around to see where the nearest group of people are gathered to put fires out, so you can help, but you can't see anyone fighting fires.

 

Instead, you see people running to and fro, screaming and crying; or huddling in corners sobbing silently. This isn't like Holdswell. Something is wrong.

 

At that moment, a strong-shouldered man you know, a farmer named Jake, tackles a fleeing woman and slits her throat. You don't stop to help her; there's nothing you can do. Instead, you turn and run.

 

Before you break free of the village proper, the innkeeper's cook, Liesel, steps in front of you, holding a bloody kitchen knife. Instinctively, you turn and run the other way. You duck between houses and dodge the dead and dying, narrowly escaping a few other people who try to kill you, people you thought you knew, people you never suspected.

 

You stumble into the center of the village and stop, staring as you see a gardener named Tanin dangling from the gallows. You think he must have been the first to die, because a sign is nailed to his chest.... You stumble closer to read it, no longer caring to run. None of this can be real. It has to be a bad dream.

 

"We Win" says the sign, in large, crimson letters. That is all. But it sends a shiver down your spine. You know it's true, somehow, as your village burns down around you, and the screams start to quiet.

 

You're curled up in a ball, staring blankly at the smoke in the air and ignoring the tears streaming from your eyes, when one of the murderers finds you. You look him in the eye, and there is no mercy there.

 

You flinch as your body is cut and pierced over and over, but you don't scream. You just lay there, bleeding, until everything turns black, and you are nothing.

 

TURIN, TANIN (Gardener)--VANILLA VILLAGER has been night killed.

 

THE VILLAGERS HAVE BEEN OVERRUN:

 

NOLDER, DALLEN (Shopkeeper)--VANILLA VILLAGER is dead.

AIEL HEART, DIONNE (Old Lady)--HEALER is dead.

BG 2.0, SCOT (Elder's Nephew)--FINDER is dead.

 

CONGRATULATIONS, MURDERERS!!!

 

WOMBAT, ANDREW (Shopkeeper's Assistant)--VANILLA MURDERER has won.

BOYO, JAKE (Farmer)--VANILLA MURDERER has won.

RED, LIESEL (Innkeeper's Cook)--VANILLA MURDERER has won.

honestly, i totally didn't see Womby claim on thread or i would have never done that. :ph34r:

 

 

i think next year, i'll not be playing Mafia once the holidays roll around. far to hard to keep up with them and everything in RL as well
