I just realized that Turin came in as a replacement for someone else, and this makes me think it's less likely he's the CL. I know this isn't a sealproof concept, but in general I think those that get replaced don't usually have the really cool roles in the game. So for Arlow to have been replaced I kind of doubt he was originally the Cult Leader.

 

Nolder is pinging me now a lot, but I'm also unsure of the possibility of him being the CL.

 

I just thought of a better candidate possibly for the CL: Ed. He seemed to talk about it more than others, and the way he joked about Nolder recruiting "us" might have just been him thinking he was clever in distancing himself from the CL.

My thoughts on the people left:

 

Nolder: getting kind of a scum read off of him, but I always seem to, so on the fence about him atm.

 

Ed: seems to be playing strangely this game. Not sure why, but I think he's town. I think.

 

BG: obviously he was silenced today.

 

Tina: asked to be replaced, I believe? Probably town.

 

Ledinna: replaced Amega. Don't have too much of a read on him.

 

Meesh: townie read

 

Wombat: never sure about Sir Wombat. Could be town, scum, or cult, and he seems to play the same. Very crafty.

 

Verb: AWOL. No read, cus he hasn't posted enough.

 

Des: possibly cult. Gut feeling here, don't ask for a case, I don't have one.

 

Maw: unsure. He had that one time finder thing, which makes me think he was town. Could be cult now, of course.

 

Kate: replaced Corrosive. I didn't like Corrosive's play, thought he was scummy. So by extension, I think Kate could be scum.

 

Ishy: I think he's town, but not sure.

 

Turin: replaced Arlow. I'm currently voting for him, but I don't think he's our CL. Could be scum or cult, but I don't think he's town.

 

Player: replaced Panda. Townie read, for the most part.

 

So there's my thoughts. I'll keep my vote on Turin for now, but I'd happily vote for Kate or Des lynch also. We have a DL now, so I will be checking the game thread often.

Flaming hell. Good point Nolder. But why would he do that to clear the cop? If BG wasn't our cop, he wouldn't have gotten an accurate Dragonsworn reading on Red. That's why I'm thinking Maw was town at that point in time. No telling now, of course.

Exactly, which is why I'm really not seeing this particular case on Maw. If he "knew" BG was telling the truth with his Finder claim because he's scum, the smartest and easiest thing to do would be to stand aside and let the town lynch the Finder--it would have happened, too, had Maw not said anything. I don't see why mafia would go out of their way to keep a town power role alive, especially if it would be easier to get them lynched.
