There wasn't really anything unusual about what you found though, tbh don't take this the wrong way but it probably wasn't completely necessary for you to reveal yet. Sakaea targeted wombat last night and was redirected to Ley, and you tracked her and found out that she had targeted Ley. I guess it could be said that you helped verify that there was a redirector, but we had already kind of guessed that.

 

The real slip came from pressuring Sakaea to reveal, which I had been suggesting we do for all the people who targeted Wombat last night, that way we could try to catch one of the mafia in a slip. Kae slipped because she claimed jailer, but jailer would have ended up protecting Ley, but he ended up dead anyways.

 

The good news is there's plenty of claimed town roles now, so you don't stand out as an obvious target as much as you do in the Macbeth game. The better news is I feel vindicated for my sloppy play earlier in the game

I agree with Des, Song--I found your reveal to be a bit unnecessary (and kind of redundant, in a way). Although, it did seem to add to the pressure Kae was feeling, so there is that.

 

Anyway, I'd hesitate to lynch a Finder, if that was what we had, but yes, as has just been pointed out, Kae was really trying to sell her jailer claim after she made it, but when the pressure on her got a little too heavy, she switched stories on us to something that would make people hesitate.

 

Kae, you would have gotten a result on Ley even though he died. I can't buy your claim-switching and holey-story-spinning.

Still wondering why Turin is pussy-footing around with the role claim that much, especially after painfully and excrutiatingly bullying my character name out of me

Kae your claims are just not adding up. Not only did you fake claim Jailer, then switch to back up Finder, you got caught out lying about who you targeted. The more you post the deeper the hole you are standing seems to get. I'm not buying your Finder claim at all. I think you tried a fake claim - it didn't work out so you switched to something you thought was more believable. I feel safe with my vote for you at the moment.

Also just as aside, in games where i have been the finder and my target was NKed i never got a result back from the mod, i have also been in games where i was RBed and did not get told i was RBed, when i asked about not getting results i got a PAFO.

It's not a definite, that she would've gotten results, but it's definitely worth noting considering all the other strange things surrounding her claims. Plus, if I see night end and I haven't gotten a response in my role PM thread, the first thing I do is ask what might have happened. Especially if I have an investigative role

Yes, i agree - but what you usually get is a PAFO, and if someone did not ask they would not get told anything. My point though is that every mod mods their games differently and we cannot rely that just because one mod does something, doesn't mean the next will too. KWIM?

I do KWYM, and agree. We could be off on the wrong path with Sakaea, but her lynch makes the most sense right now. Either way, I'm one of the biggest opponents of tunnelvision, it's an easy way to develop bad scumhunts in a game.

 

You don't have to answer this Amadine, but why do you think Wombat targeted you last night? Strange detail that's bugging me

Shocked gasps ran around the room. Prizing them apart keys fell on to the floor, someone picked them up, on the keyring was a minature Millennium Falcon!

That said, we should still consider other options while we have time. I do feel a bit uneasy about lynching a claimed Finder, but at least it would seem that the Town has more power than just it's main ones if it turns out that Sakaea was indeed telling the truth.

I still think think Tina's claim of RB for town has some bad juice in it and deserves a second look. I don't doubt it happened, but I severely doubt the alignment.

 

You see, I am a RB as well, and I don't believe there would be 2 town RBs. As such, Tina is top of my list after today.
