They do. Later in the game, As I've explained a couple times now. Nobody said this was your D1 plan, breadcrumbs are usually something done to setup a later play.

Long story short... I think Rey tried to take attention off of you, like you did for Blackhoof, when you guys were both scum the last time I played with you, when I immediately caught onto Blackhoof. However, my theory that Rey could be scum is tied mostly to you being scum. Additionally, I am accusing you of trying to breadcrumb finder, so that you could false claim later in the game... because I called you out on it on D1, and you likely weren't expecting it, you decided to role claim doc instead... shifting gears if you will. I have not succinctly explained this more than twice, yet you keep asking me to re-explain, and re-explain... the same crap you pulled when you were scum, hoping you could exhausting myself and drown out my own points. Didn't work then, and I won't get sucked into it this time.

 

If you aren't scum, I see NO reason why you would have approached your role like this, tbh. I don't feel the need to belabor it much more, we really need everyone else to weigh in.

I don't think the sloppy mistake I made earlier of switching my votes has done the town any good, and I apologise for it.

 

I don't like the way Nolder is being overly defensive. If you can't give a logical and reasonable explanation for your actions, you must have something to hide.

 

While I agree with your points Mcclane, I'm still somewhat suspicious. Like I mentioned earlier, this could be a clever gambit. My gut is to go with Nolder at the moment.

I find it funny that Rey has switched BACK to Nolder now. I like my vote where it is. I think that Rey was trying to distance from either Nolder or McClane. At this point it looks more and more like Nolder.

But why would you even do this?

 

I haven't played with many people in this game before, but when I play I look for things that don't make sense. I see two things that don't make sense here:

 

1. Mr. McClane outing a finder. If town, it's in his best interest to take note of these hints, and then keep quiet about them until such time as the role is actually revealed. Otherwise, he's making the scum's job easier by conveniently pointing out the power roles. However, why would scum rolefish so blatantly?

 

2. Nolder breadcrumbing finder and then claiming cop. Weird. The whole point of breadcrumbs is to either support a later claim (I actually don't understand why people are willing to take breadcrumbing as evidence for a role, anyway; they can be faked), or to try and draw a nightkill. Now, if he was breadcrumbing finder, this would suggest that he maybe wanted to claim finder later. But then he claimed doc. Odd. Alternately, if he was trying to draw the scum's kill, why would you do that when you're a power role yourself? Nolder has now admitted that it was a bit silly.

 

So, what to do? At this point, I think that Nolder is probably scum who stuffed up breadcrumbing terribly, and is now flapping around.

I'd say so. He breadcrumbed cop, claimed doc, and then acted as if we all were insane for questioning him. Bad defense? I'd say so. Most of us have played with him numerous times and he's a much better player than this. Playing the "Wha? Wth?" card is definitely not his style and I'm almost 100% sure we've hit scum this time.

Personally, I don't like either of you.

 

Nolder, I know you like to go big or go home. As such, I can see you breadcrumbing falsely and early for good or bad reasons. That being said, I currently SEVERELY doubt the truthfulness of your role.

 

Mr. Bruce Willis, on the other hand, I have no experience with personally but I know he's intelligent and capable of most any type of scheme.

 

Given the circumstances, I see 2 issues.

 

1. Nolders move is not helpful to the town, except to draw attention away from real power roles. If Nolder does have a power, he made a huge mistake in execution and will probably be lynched for it.

 

2. John forcing the roleclaim wasn't very town friendly either. A good case scenario gives us an inexperienced mafia that may not pick up on the hints. John blew open that can of worms though. It makes sense that the mafia upon hearing Nolders claim would push his lynch as hard as they dare rather than use a possibly blocked NK on him. Hard to NK an outed Doc.

 

Therefore I'll keep my vote where it is at.

 

Given these options, I'd rather leave both alive and see where future days take us on opinions of both players.

May I ask why? And BG, I'm in total agreement with you on the Nol vs. Ape scenario. While Nol is seriously making huge mistakes, I think John is right behind him. If Nol does in fact flip town (which I seriously doubt at this point), Ape should definitely be the next to go for rolefishing and drawing out our doc. But I still don't think he did so.
