Alright quick thoughts on game:

 

No one is talking about the manner of Tina's death. It seemed strange to me, should we examine that more closely later on?

 

About whether or not Ishy should reveal townies: I think it was meesh who said it, since we have another power role which can double Ishy's viewings, we'll always have a leg up on mafia and should be able to use viewings to accelerate the game, and in our favor. Plus, revealing a viewing later on when someone's close to lynching can raise some suspicions, not to mention we'd be wasting time trying to lynch townies. This way we'll narrow down the list quickly and focus on scumhunting. If we have a town tracker/watcher thing, focus on Ishy so we can find out about mafia power roles, because I fear they will now be attempting to use RB'er on Ishy, or possibly their own tracker to find our healer.

 

As for Min: some things def could look scummy, and I didn't like that post of hers saying Ishy's reveals flat out wouldn't paint targets on our back. I also don't like half-reveals, but not as much as others. And her whole defeatist attitude, "Ill prob get NKed even if I don't get lynched" could easily be a WIFOM for scum, implying she might have a powerful role and thus draw attention away from Ishy. That being said, she's on my FOS list but I don't think she's the best candidate for lynch today. We could have her viewed tonight tho possibly.

 

I'd like to hear from Amadine and Lanth. Seems to me they've been pretty low-key so far, and everyone else has posted quite a bit.

 

Also, VOTE MIN for advocating what is, to me, a pro-scum position on the Ishy revealing town issue. I'm not the only who thinks that's scummy, obviously, but such a blatant pro-scum position deserves my vote.

 

FOS for this post. The part that seems strange to me is asking for Lanth to post more when he's posted a good bit already, and I find his posts to be distracting right now. Then her manner of voting for Min, it just really seems to me like she's trying to meld into the rest of us, and using hyperbole to really set us against Min at the same time. Someone else already pointed a FOS at her (Sakaea) so let's keep this in mind later on.

 

Honestly I feel this argument is moot. On one hand town know whos not vote for and target for potential NA's, and on the one hand they can get the spotlight to be attacked by scum. I can see it working both ways so I think both arguements counterout one another. Certainly not a reason to go after Min at this point IMHO.

 

That was part of Karas' post btw, for those who don't wanna look it up themselves. He's referring to the argument about Ishy revealing alignments or not. Once again, since our finder will get double the viewings, his reveals will help town more, and we need as many verified townies as we can get before we lose this great edge (if either Ishy, healer, or doubler gets NKed or lynched)

 

 

Okay and now who I think actually might be the best candidate for lynch today: Ed. A couple of people have already raised certain issues about him, but here's something else. I hope I don't get in trouble for this, but in another game recently Ed "claimed" the exact same kind of role, something that occupies someone at night, acts like a RB'er, and involves something naughty supposedly. I just don't think it's close to likely that he'd get the same kind of role in both games without at least remarking upon that slightly. Not just that, but between pressuring Min or pressuring Ed, it seems we have less to lose by forcing a reveal from Ed than we do from Min. And from everything I'm hearing, it seems there's a strong possibility we have a lie detector or something, so his reveal can be very useful.

Oh and for anyone thinking I'm defending Min and going along with her vote at the same time, remember I'm a vetted townie glad we got that out early!

Verby, the point is with Ishy doubling up on viewings, even if scum follow our roadmap and only NK vetted townies, they can only kill 1 a night aside from any SK. So every day and night that goes by we either gain +1 vetted townies (2 revealed, 1 NKed) or push with reveals but a revealed mafia (1 townie vetted, 1 mafia vetted, 1 vetted townie NKed). Not to mention while the mafia is following our roadmap we'll still be able to gain information from other roles potentially, and our lynches will have a better shot of finding scum.

 

In other words, all this will accelerate the game in town's favor. FOS @ you Verb for trying to FOS others for backing this up, and because I've had faint scummy vibes from you this game. Same with Barm btw (the scummy vibes thing).

 

And Nolder, please try to review the most current posts before posting so you can gather your thoughts in as small a number of posts. 7 in a row is just kinda crazy, and it reduces the chance that people will remember or even read your first or any of your arguments.

With a fresher face on Day 1 than everyone else, I want to say Desp doesn't feel scummy to me. Also I'm still not convinced of Ishy's claim, even with the doubler thing...

 

Also I wasn't getting good vibes from Barm and was my #1 on reread, and a lot of others seemed to get scum vibes from him too... then crap hit the fan and he was forgotten oh so quickly and conviently, Vote Barm

that said, Ed has moved up on my list. last night he claims to be targetting Ishy, and makes himself a good target, then he admits to not helping out Ishy at all. i question the motives of this and wonder if he was maybe trying to draw healer support in a way. it's a tiny FoS because theres no way a healer shouldn't not protect a finder; but still, eds one sneaky fellow and the move strikes me as odd.

Well, I am town. Just because of my view on reveals you all want to lynch me. Okay, that is fine, just know that you are lynching someone with a great town power. I am not going to reveal what. bussing their roleblocker? hardly. heres the main possibilities of what hybrid COULD have been when he claimed and the hhypothetical reasons he claimed:

1) a town roleblocker. he was this, obviously.

2) a mafia roleblocker. No-one would expect someone to claim the scummiest role in the game (other than godfather) so it is good to claim, especially if you are tellign the truth.

3) mafia goon. same reason as #2

4) vanilla townie. claiming to avoid a lynch for the same reason as the last two

 

as for how scummy Hybrid acted

remember I was not presented a case against him until long after I'd made my argument

I admit he was somewhat scummy but by that time I was already convinced of his innocence

like i said, they would not necessarily be bussing him (although i am not 100% clear on the definition of bussing) and hybrid was more than "somewhat scummy" he was letting off scumtells left right and centre. he would not respond to any accusations and blatantly bandwagoned.... blatantly. he only talked in short sentences and didnt add much to the game (neither did i admittedly, but i am remedying that).

On Day 1, there was a series of discussions between Des and Hybrid. I got a gut feeling that pinged my personal scum detector from Hybrid. I voted to lynch him, and it turns out that the lynching of Hybrid revealed that he was a Roleblocker whom was a Dragon on my team, the Town Team. Clearly, everyone of us Town players made a mistake in the lynching of Hybrid.

Now, here we are on Day 2, and the deadline is coming up on Wednesday. I am not getting a scummy feel from anyone right now... at least not a strong enough ping to cast a vote. However, I shall sleep on this, and come back tomorrow. Hopefully, I can return in time to cast a vote before the deadline is reached.

What is up with the new train on the final day before deadline? A whopping 2 votes on Amadine is supposed to be the competing train?
