I'd also add that some games have a mechanic that makes a no lynch a little more bearable.....funny enough, it is one of Kivam's games that has it.

 

But this game isn't that one, so I don't like the vote. I'm going to wait for Red to come back and inevitably say she was gauging reactions. >_<

^^ right-oh there Verb. it was purely for reactions and to get the game started beyond Day 1 nonsense. though i see i failed somewhat. that and after playing so many games with Verb & Mynd, knowing alot of you have also played with them ... i had a feelign for some fun nastalga. i'm betting one of the people voting for me are scum; most likely not Verb because thats the reaction i expected.

So Red, any particular reason why you voted for a No lynch?

 

in this game, no; just reactions mainly and getting some info started up. though No Lynch is a valid strategy for Day 1 in some cases. most times Day 1 ends up in a lynch on an innocent, and people are very opinionated concerning No Lynch; so you get alot of good reactions and info to look into. also, Scum will see it as an opportunity to use it to get the person suggesting the No Lynch, lynched and use the surrounding arguement to try and cause chaos. i knew this goign in, and therefore are better prepared to gauge the reactions and shift the infomation gathered.

 

and had i not had 5 pages to respond to in Womby's game; i woudla been able to say this before Verb beat me to the punch

Careful with that reasoning, Red. I know what's expected of me when somebody votes No Lynch - I'll have that same reaction no matter what my alignment is. Don't assume one way or the other based solely on my reaction. ;-)

Yeah, she's referencing the craziness we go through on MJ whenever Lanth votes No Lynch and I jump on his back for it. Then Mynd comes in and backs one of us on it (usually me), and we go in circles for a bit. It's become a routine, lol.

I dont personally like no lynch votes nor do i think they are scummy this early on, but I have only played one other game where it was mentioned and that was as a joke really so Im not really sure what to think. Its not likely to remain like that when we do get to a lynch so it doesnt bother me for now

your's & MCS's votes are in prime Bandwagon spot and also had the most "voting cause she has the most votes" feel to it. you pulling off and questioning my FOS raises an eyebrow further, but as it's both a town & scum reaction to pressure i'm filing it away.

I always want my vote on someone if I can help it. I could not keep it on Red (which would keep her towering above the rest of us in total votes). And I did not want to choose another random player, so I just sticked with the original one.
