Book-wise, I'm having a hard time coming up with many people who would share a Mason-style link between three people. I can only come up with one, and I'm reluctant to share that because it could send us down the wrong path entirely.

Really?!!!!

I will not be including characters in role PMs

This should make things a lot easier for you...now it should open up your mind more, there are plenty of groups of people who maybe grouped together...if not then it looks like you are trying to make us look good for a lynch...hmmm, the kinda thing mafia would do!

Oh and if you did that to try and get me to post after you for a thief whatsemecalled...you can forget it, I have nothing!

All I am saying is that there are logical reasons to lynch Amadine right now that have nothing to do with me.

Don't seek to lynch me out of fear. If you have a logical argument, let's hear it.

If I wanted to lynch you it would not be out of fear, lol

BG thought that perhaps working in congress was probably a lot like Mafia.

Talking about your "mason" team again?

Someone trying to sow the seeds of how we might not be a Mason Team...

Then Quibby above are you sure you aren't working together?

Are you saying that you didn't immediately recognize your character by the description?

Based on the deaths, none of the characters that have been handed out are obscure, one-shot characters; they all play some large part in the series. The reason why I did not mention the specifics is because it's a detail, a one-shot mention in the series. Ergo, it means that it's probably not on the right track. What I was asking for was some other input.

Okay, sure there's the Egwene-Elayne-Nynaeve thing, but based on the fact that Nynaeve's dead and there are still three of you, that doesn't seem likely.

You really should read the beginning Quibby!

No doubt many of you will be able to divine which character you are through information I have given you.

I've bolded the word 'many' which means not all will. So does that answer your questions. I may well have a character, but I cannot work it out and I have no intention of trying to work it out because I could be many, so there would be no point. I have nothing to hint at...We all got the same PM as far as I'm aware!

As I said, you are thinking too narrowly about a Mason team...You shouldn't think characters. And that's it because I'm not going to reveal that part of it...not even hint, I've seen what happens no matter how much you try to get me too...now THAT would convenient.

most of the Reason I agreed to vote Curt last time, including his self-implications, was as a check on Aemon's naive finder claim.

I was strongly leaning towards Drew until Aemon just said Drew walks in the light. I don't want to further test his claim and lynch another townig.

I think Ama is our best shot for a mafia lynch right now.

vote ama

Okay, I know I'm sort of playing all my cards here, but this is something town definitely needs to know. Aemon has to be a naive finder, because I'm town but I'm supposed to read mafia. I don't know who my character is, but finder's are supposed to read me as scum.

I'm saying this for the good of the town, because it means nobody Aemon read is necessarily town.

Town that reads Mafia. . . You must be Galad.

Thanks, Drew. That's good information to have.

Well, except that our list of innocents just got a helluva lot smaller. And I guess I owe Aemon an apology for earlier posts questioning his ability and trustworthiness.

Unvote

Vote Amadine

Ha! That's pretty funny. I really don't know who I am, I was given just one small hint, pretty vague at that. But I really can't say anything else for risk of being modkilled.

Mynd, that was an A, B, OR C question, you can't just say yes to the whole thing unless you think it would give too much away and I'll happily not ask further.

Lol, I was just trying to be funny. I received the roleblock power when I so covertly claimed to be the Dragon Reborn.

Talya, BG, Adella....do any of you have any special abilities. No need to say what they are, just do you have them and are they unique to you? There are two factions that make sense to be masons (Galad, Gawyn, Elayne) or (White Cloaks). White Cloaks could also be cult as well.

Two factions? What about: Black Ajah team, Aiel Dreamwalkers, could even be as simple as three Two Rivers people, three Sisters, three warders, something like that. I can see a lot of ways for there to be a mason team.

Or...you know. Illuminators. >_> I'm just saying that it makes sense is all. A group that was separate from the others who kept to themselves. One of their main features was that they didn't allow anybody else to know their secrets. I could be way off base, but I think it could be possible.

You're only medium-funny Mynd, sorry. rolleyes.gif Nonetheless, I think I had an aha! moment yesterday, I just have to remember what it was. . .

Guys, not to burst bubbles or anything, but trying to guess the mason group characters is like trying to divine who might be corrupt in a group of whitecloaks... there's too many possibilities. Heck, my first thought when I heard mason group were the Seanchan who traveled with Mat.

Anyone have a count on the Amadine lynch? I'd like to vote to help majority but if I'm going to accidentally lynch someone, I'd rather not toss a vote.

"I visited those snakes and they told me you are a darkfriend!" yelled one of the fools.

Lanfear dropped her Mask of Mirrors, spun a gateway and backed towards it. The fools stared at her, transfixed. These primitive worms had found her out. How the fool had managed to ask a question touching on the Shadow she did not know. One of the the children that called themselves Aes Sedai tried to cut Lanfear off from the Source. She laughed as she batted the flow of Spirit away.

"Lews Therin, abandon these fools and return to me. You love me. You always did. Even after that milksop stole you. You are mine, Lews Therin, mine!"

The tall young man stepped forward. There was a far off look in his eyes as he spoke.

"I never loved you, Mierin, and I never will. I belong to Ilyena."

Lanfear hissed and struck at his connection to saidin. Lews Therin countered by slashing her web, and it snapped back at her. Then he struck at her connection to saidar. Lanfear drew on her angreal and spun a vicious weave of pain. Lews Therin screamed and collapsed.

"If I cannot have you, then no one will. Now you die, Lews Therin." Lanfear spun a complex web that would cause the most painful death she knew. She was just about to release it when her connection to saidar abruptly vanished. That was impossible. No one could be that strong. She glanced behind her and saw two women. They must have formed a ring with Lews Therin. That was the only way. Lanfear pushed at their block and it started to give. She pushed harder, and they responded in kind. Suddenly, a rock hit her in the head and she lost concentration. She screamed as the web crashed in on her. And then she stopped. Lying on the ground was the most beautiful woman any of you had ever seen. Even in death.

Amadine, Lanfear, Mafia Neighbor has been lynched.

It is now Night 7. You have until Monday at 8 PM ET to submit night actions. If you think you made a successful item play, please link me to the relevant posts.

Ok, BG finally had a viable reason to trust Mynd.
