Nynaeve tugged at her braid as the group read its decision. So she was a darkfriend now just for being herself? Let them say she "overreacted" all they want, she knew she didn't. These woolheaded fools were no better than those who scrawled the Dragon's Fang on doors at night. At least they had made her angry enough to channel. She would be no easy meat. Nynaeve opened herself to the Source and found something blocking her. She slammed her will against it, but it was too strong. She tried again to no avail. Flows of air wrapped around her and held her in place.

 

"You may be strong, but you cannot overcome all of us." A knife flashed through the air and struck Nynaeve in the chest...

I would like to make it a point that CurtDragon lynched himself. Especially when you are in a healer role, you gotta keep your cool. That is why I hate being the healer or finder in a game because it limits the amount of exposure I am able to put myself. When I am a vanilla townie, I can swing from the fences, lie my ass off, and make myself a target for the mafia, so that our MVPs are safely hidden behind my heat shield.

 

Curt's reaction to my prodding made me even more suspicious, and his "Good luck Losers, you lost the game because of Mynd" posts at the end stunk of sour grapes. His posts were accusatory and did nothing to sway any of us off his lynch. I think it is safe to assume that many of those who agreed with the Curt lynch are scumbags, but when you are the town healer, you gotta stay in the background and not make yourself a target.

 

Anyways, we still have other powers in play that we can use to our advantage. I don't know about you all, but we only seem to have a handful of active players, who all might end up being pro-town.

I haven't submitted my power-block target yet. I figure I'd like to get some suggestions from the public first.

 

@Drew - if you are truly pro-town, you need to start casing those who were fine with either a lynch on you or a lynch on Curt. I guarantee one of those early on supporters of either lynch are scum, if not more. If you are truly pro-town, look for those who are making it seem like they are going with the flow. Let me know who you would choose.

 

@BG - you can safely eliminate yourself and your mason team as suspects. Take out Aemon and myself, who would you suggest I use my Power-block tonight?

 

@Aemon - Keep on finding people, don't assume you are naive. You might not need goldeneyes to see clearly at night, there may be other powers tainting it. False dragon or not, you have a gift. I trust you will use it in wisdom.

 

@Verbal - just from one professional to another, I'd like your experienced mafia opinion on who I should power block

 

Everyone else, I'd like you to vote in GREEN who you think I should use my Power Block on, and I will go with the majority.

Drew, we sacked 2 mafia players. Now, if there were two mafia teams and you were on one, I can understand you only feeling like you lost one player, but from the town perspective, we've sacked 2 mafia players, and I would definitely include a serial killer as a threat to the town, so 3 total threats were sacked from 9, which is roughly 1/4 of 36.

 

So Drew, how is your mafia team broken down? Is it Forsaken on one team and maybe Black Ajah on the other? Or does each Forsaken have their own set of goons, or in your case (Graendal) pets?

 

Mynd, read my post again. I said "we killed two." My "9-1=6 comment was in reference to you saying, "is about 9-ish, so take away Fain and you are left with about 6-7 mafia total," which is incorrect.

 

I'm not sure if you're intentionally not doing the math right here, or if we're just misunderstanding each other. There are 6-7 mafia left, not 4 like you said in your first post.

It was based on some of the things he had said during Verbal's compulsion. He chimed in about the time that Verbal started acting compulsed. Other than that it was pretty much a hunch, but validated by his reaction.

Good question. It was a one time opportunity for me, but I imagine it's being passed around. Has anyone else been given the option to step on through to the other side and visit the snakes? If so, what questions did you ask and what was the response?

So Mynd never actually owned it? It was just something the Mod gave Mynd the opportunity to use once?

^ This. He was allowed to say "Hey! I'm the Doc!", but he didn't. That was bad, to be perfectly honest. People, read the rules and know what you can and cannot do!

I'm caught back up! I know I'm a tad quiet, but I'm grounded from the interwebs and my wifi is disconnected, so I'm using my college wifi for my crack.

 

A few thoughts perhaps...

 

- Agreed on Mynd's style from a few pages back, but Song is pinging me a little with her Mynd support, it seems like she knows more than we think she does or she's happily following Mynd because she knows he's totally off-base. I'll happily keep Mynd at arm's length as long as I can, but you're too willing.

- I would have voted Curt if given the chance; he could have easily revealed but he chose to GIVE UP(?!) and say screw you to the town; that in itself is not very town behavior despite being town. But good job as doc making it to day 6 at least... my luck isn't that strong. lol.

- I'm unsure about alignments of Drew or BG, but I'm going to ignore them for a bit because there are others that caught my attention earlier on and are now pretty sparse; I'd like to hear from them to see if my pings were ping-worthy; namely Virtuhall, Quibs, and Killiuliu (you three have a little mini "m" beside your names in my notes, but I'm failing to remember what for...). Honestly I don't see Mynd going back and forth with Drew and BG getting anywhere right now other than frustrating me because Mynd keeps saying the same *shiitake over and over again and I think I'm the only one realizing this at times. (Example: that you're playing in interest of the town, if we all had brains we would realize that, yadda yadda yadda and et cetera)

- Krak... that was blatant role hinting. Not even hinting, more like a red flag; I'm kinda shocked nobody even mentioned it, but instead waited for Womby to kill ya. Bah, oh well.

 

As for narrowing people down? I have a list of 10 people... that's not what I would consider narrow. "meh"

I have to agree with AJ, you were more chummy towards Mynd, which if he is innocent would put doubt on you innocence, song! You said things at least twice that I can remember and it was just a little over the top imo. But we will see. As I don't know Mynd's alignment, it will be something to bear in mind for later.

 

There are also a number of very quiet people. I don't think TMD has posted since I joined this game. I'm not sure about Thorkin nor virtu, haven't seem much of them neither. So where are they? Why aren't they in the game? Why aren't they playing? are they hiding for a reason or just can't be bothered?
