Yes, I'm finally getting my computer to cooperate with me as well.

 

So, there is a little over a day until the next deadline. I'm going to

have to recheck a few things before I cast a vote though. I have some

I guess we really need to watch the vote count, and hope that not many people vote around the same time so we can try and catch whoever it was.

also, if the DV isn't used (ie: the theif doesn't vote) this pretty much confirms IMO that scum stole it. either way, if it's used or not used, whoever stoel the DV is a marked man imo and you just made it easy to sniff you out by using logic & process of elimination.

Verbal-bot must be running Verbal's account while the real Verbal is off defending Endor or something. He usually posts more than that, maybe he's baiting for a challenge? Dunno, but I don't think his careless 1 out of 33 vote changes much at all here.

 

Red, I am with you on the confirmations and agreed that they don't necessarily write any one player off completely, it sheds some light on who might be what and what for.

 

Right now, in my opinion, I think a lynch on either Ed or Pianoplay3r would garner us the most information. At the risk of revealing a Healer (not THE Healer as suggested by one), would there be much harm in Ed and Piano revealing who they targeted and why? It reminds me of a story. A city guard had narrowed down the identity of a local thief to three men. The first claimed to be new in town and the second said he was working at home all day. The third said "Yeah, I am new in town as well and I've also been working all day at me home." A similar claim read here in this thread is "Yeah, I musta got deflected too!" Know what I mean?

 

I hold this one assumption to be true: With only one death last night, at least one other death was blocked in some way. The target was likely either Red or Aemon. If I were Mafia, it would be one of those two, and likely Red. Make sense?

the only reason why i shy away from all 3 of them being scum is because its honestly too risky. i'm not discrediting the theory, and it's a ballzy play if thats their angle. but their alignments are unoffically linked to one another.

 

if Song flips scum, then it casts doubt on those she's pointed out and especailly those who have backed her up or atleast confirmed her findings. just like Aemon & Quibby are unoffically linked for the same reasons; as well as Player & Ed for that matter.

Ah, now that I think about it... the plot thickens on the Double Voter with my comment. Now they know that claiming the double vote was given to them will be a big ol' FOS at them, or if an innocent really does receive it as a gift they probably won't own up to it either for fear of FOS. We are also monitoring the double post, so they can't use it safely. This means that until someone who is generally trusted (like you Red), or if Song gets it back, it is basically a curse.

It stands to reason that those frequent posters, like Red and I lately, do not have any items or we wouldn't be so open to thievery.

 

On the other hand, it stands a great deal possible that the quiet ones, like Verbal, are limiting their posting for fear of grubby hands snagging their preciouses and such. This could also explain Aust's silence, but that's gonna get him killed.

 

I'm thinking Aust, Ed, or Piano......at least they need to start shedding more light onto this whole fubar. There's a scum among them I suspect.

Question about scum targeting Red for a NK (and this is a genuine question) - if scum were going for an easy town kill, someone they know they can get their hands on without interference, wouldn't they choose someone less well-known and quieter? Red was virtually guaranteed to be protected in some way last night. I mean, they know who is and isn't town, and can act accordingly. I understand that if she's Moiraine, she's important, but it was a huge risk trying to NK Red (or Aemon, which I still think might be the case. After all, whether he's Rand or Logain, you'd want him dead if you were scum)

majority of us said "only the scum would want to theif a DV item" so everyone knew from the beginning if the DV ability was theifed, the theif woudl be automatically thought of as scum. this si why no townie in their right mind woudl theif it, and scum woudl have been stupid to theif it unless they planned to frame a townie (in this case their cover is blown)

 

more than likely, the holder of the DV ability will lay low and not cast a vote; so really we need as many people as possible to vote; as well as keeping a sharp look on the VC to see when the DV appears (if it does infact appear now, which it probably will)

 

either way, whether the theif votes or doesn't vote, this will narrow down the possible scum list very nicely for us.

 

imo, the best thing to do in reguards to the DV is to gift it back to Song. the Scum woudl be smart ot do this, seeing as we know what their aim for stealing the item is and it wont work. nice try scum, but it was a little too obvious of a move.

i don't follow this line of logic Mynd. i understand what your saying, but i don't agree with it.

 

my amount of posting has nothing to do with the possability of theif plays. i didn't let it effect me when i had an item, and i wont let it effect me in the future if & when i do get an item.

But discovering who 'faile' was does explain a comment made by Stryder earlier, about "the horn can't be found because I don't have it."

I see where you are coming from, Moon, but that's kind of a stretch as Faile never came close to the Horn. Stryder stating as fact that it was impossible because he hadn't found it made me think he was trying a soft reveal as Matt. I was surprised to see that he was Faile and only after your post did I make the Faile/Horn connection.

I think I'm more inclined to vote ed or Aust at this point. I don't believe Ed and Aust has been super quiet. We've already heard from Ed, and I would be willing to ultimately lynch him if it comes down to it, but I'm going to UNVOTE, VOTE AUST maybe he will finally speak up.
