I meant Alanna >.<

Even if you meant Alanna you were still wrong, because she was already listed as voting for me.

Maybe reading glasses are in order there, mc? :P

Well, yes, it was pretty much random, or rather, I pretty much decided to bandwagon lol. Actually I'm a little embarrased now because I was thinking our deadline was last night, for some reason, but now I'm realizing it's tomorrow... But I will leave my vote for now.

That's alright Nae

I'm not happy with what we have right now, people bandwagoned on mcs rather quickly... If it gets closer to deadline, and we need to consolidate I will go with the majority. I also don't like the Nyn bandwagon. I know setting up two competing wagons can get some information, but that's normally with more information and participation.

I am also finding Alanna's vote and Wombat's vote suspicious. Alanna gives an excuse for voting Nyn, by not knowing the deadline and she wanted to jump on the bandwagon. Doesn't make sense because mcs was the one with the most votes so if she wanted to help out with the deadline, she would've put her vote there.

Also wombat has jumped votes a couple times, between mcs and Nyn.

aemon, wombats vote is on mcs. He unvoted Nyn and voted mcs

VOTE ALANNA for now. She seems the most scummy in my eyes.

Except that I said I found the votes on MCS suspicious. Also I thought they had the same number of votes at the time? I could be wrong.

Well for the sake of a controlled lynch, it seems I have no choice but to Vote mcs I probably won't be back on before deadline because I have family over for Thanksgiving. And really no one is participating enough for me to see anything on anyone right now.

I reread the thread to this point and I have to say it's still really difficult for me to pick up a trail. Looks awfully like square one. I figured I would share what I noted. I'm not saying it necessarily casts suspicion over anyone, but we have to start from somewhere so we can get a running discussion here. Day one excuses for frivolous votes are no longer valid.

First of all, the two people who didn't bother voting at all on day one were: Amegakure and Sky. Sky never actually addressed why he suddenly unvoted Wombat (despite him being the only person who voted for him) as he proclaimed that he doesn't believe in participating in day 1 lynching at all. It seems like a pretty weird disclaimer coming from the FIRST person that voted on day 1. That's the part that makes me think he needs to be watched. As for Amegakure, it seems to me like he/she hasn't actually been around. Not necessarily means he/she is scummy but it should be noted.

As for vote switching, most of the players seemed to have done that. So it can't really serve as a real indicator of scum. However, some of the people switched saying it's better than a random kill. However, the rules clearly say:

6. In the event of no majority, the person with the most votes will be lynched. I hope this will help people keep their motivation.
I'm not sure if these were people that just didn't remember this or didn't read the rules properly (which can happen)... or they were using this as a careless (and made up) excuse.

As for my own personal suspicion.... I have to say my eye is currently on Krak. I know him to be a guy that likes to kid around, but he can also get serious when need be. I haven't seen even ONE post where he contributes anything to the discussion at hand. He just keeps flaunting how everyone seems to follow his lead, which sort of makes me wonder if he's scum and he's having a private joke about the whole thing. It would match his twisted sense of humor :P It's possible I'm reading too much into it, but I'll definitely be watching him closely. I'm not going to vote quite yet, but he's probably the person I'd vote for if I had to right now. Closely followed by Sky.

Nae has also been rather quiet. I've never played with her before so I don't know if this is common or not. It's not that she hasn't posted in the thread, it's just that I haven't seen her actually discussing stuff with the rest, but rather commenting to stuff that are related to corrections of Aemon's status posts and the likes or confirming that someone really unvoted X person and switched to Y person.... So she's definitely paying attention, just not saying very much.

Not sure if this helped any, but that's pretty much what's going through my head right now.

Ack. I for one did totally miss that rule about lynching, Nyn. Or rather, I forgot about it, because I do remember reading it now. If I'd remembered I probably wouldn't have voted at all; I don't like to vote on Day 1 unless I have strong convictions about someone, or unless my vote is needed to get a majority. I feel dumb for being so careless, but in my defense, I had a lot of family over yesterday and just kind of got on really quick to check the thread and vote. I wasn't thinking.

Yeah, I understand. To be honest I think it's harder on people that are playing in both this game and yours, because of the different rules.... it's hard not to get them mixed up. I keep having to go to the first post of the game to make sure I'm remembering the rules of the game right lol But yeah, I noted it because it seemed out of the ordinary, that's all.

Yeah I've never run into the rule about reaching a non majority and the person with the most votes wins. I'm also playing in like 5 or 6 other games right now, so it's hard to keep the rules strait sometimes. lulz I kind of find it very interesting, I'm not sure if it's in a good way or not. No offense Aemon. It just seems that the mafia could just sit back, if they wanted to, and just let the town fight amongst ourselves and vote ourselves out, not meaning to. So we need to be extra careful where we place our votes.

I have played in other games with this rule, so Aemon's not the first to do it. I've considered using it a few times myself.
