Turned out i was right about Red being Beva, but had presumed (Rather naively) that meant innocence. Got to commend Nae taking one for the team (And specifically moi, who probably wouldn't have survived).

Torchlight flickers across the stone walls, the torches guttering in the wind. Lightning cracks and the Hall rumbles along with the thuner that follows.

 

Alys looks at you, her rain-streaked face a mask of contempt as she sneers...

 

"You never got it! You never understood! Don't say I didn't try to help you..."

 

The Minister holds up a hand.

 

"That's enough, Alys. You've been found guilty. The time to argue is past. If you've any final words, say them now."

 

She says nothing.

 

The Minister waves his hand toward the chain hauler, and as the links tighten around Alys's wrists, a silver flash appears inthe air befoe her and buries itself in her throat. She slumps forward, chin resting on the hilt of the palm dagger, blood trickiling down.

 

ALYS, BEVA PERRADA AND MAFIA, HAS BEEN KILLED.

 

You don't bother to look around for the thrower of the blade. You don't need to know who they were to know who they were.

 

The crowd breaks up more quickly as the rain begis to fall again.

Awesome. Another one down. That makes 5 total. Unless I'm mistaken there have been 3 Bonda and 2 Beva. If we really are looking at 10 mafia in this game, I imagine we have at least 1 more Beva and 3 Captains. There is going to be one leftover. I have no idea where that one might have been placed.

Did we lynch her?  I thought maybe someone had a day kill, since I didn't see a deadline for night actions, and normally when we lynch someone they aren't killed with a palm dagger.

 

I think she was assassinated, or whatever.

 

But I could be wrong, that was just the impression I got.  I thought we still had to lynch someone...

You are right it doesn't but Lily didn't explain to me exactly why she attempted to NK you, just that she felt you were scummy. And i did find it odd that that night action reflected from you but i am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and take you at your word for now.

I think at this point it doesn't really benefit us to hide our alignments does it? we've already seen that beva/bonda don't coorelate to mafia/town.

That's awesome.  I've played two games? I think with Alys and she seemed scummy in the last one too althought she wasn't  :-\  It's very hard for me to read her.

Night ended at 8 p.m., which was and extension - however, rl business calls, and I am not even close to being able to write a scene - I'll be back in the morning. In the mean time, please know that the pirate is playing rl mafia with a great deal of money, and i aim to win.

 

If I do, I'll buy everyone a martini at JordanCon. If I don't, I'll be PMing you to borrow money for internet acces. heh  8)
