Aemon, could you tell us a bit more about the bonestone you have; which name is it and/or effect does it produce and have you used it yet?

 

Wes' post was the first I ever heard about having a bonestone. I have no idea which type it is or what it does.

 

then why not just give it to yourself if you're not inclined to keep it.  it seems unlikely Wes would give you a goody and not tell you you had it, then you not be curious at all to see what the goody is.

 

And suddenly, we should believe everything that Alys says...right!  Why would Wes say to you that we shouldn't use the bone at all. When he has told us it could go either way in the thread. Asking questions is good, but doesn't mean you are going to get the answers. Of course you might be saying it's bad, hoping that Aemon will give it to you, hoping it won't be! :P

REd..interesting that you would vote for Me and Meesh that you have been attaching yourself too, Maybe you want us lynched to show we are innocent and then attach yourself again! i'm not suggesting we believe Alys, all i've been suggesting is that a 3rd party veiw her this way we know who is the LLL.

 

and i never countered either of their claims, so no i haven't out right called them liars.  again let me clarify for you, i don't know what my faction is, i was only told of my 3 one use abilitys and that i win with the town.  nothing more, and nothing less.  the only thing i said Aemon was fibbing on was me using my protection last night, because i used that night 1.

 

and i'm not tring to attach myself to you guys, i haven't been.  i listed you and Meesh because you two are the only ones i've seen that see the obvious about the set up; Barm & myself are the other people i woudl have listed, but as both of us are in question and i'm not sure of his alignment i didn't put our names as options.  besides, i doubt at this point Aemon would take any names i listed into consideration  

 

All right. Just to clear up some of the confusion, I have decided to let you all know that I am a witch in a mason group with Wombat and Dar. I am giving the bonestone to Wombat because he is one of the few people I do not suspect of being mafia at this point. We hope that this has a beneficial effect, but should it turn out bad, at least it will clear myself and Dar.

 

Just to make sure no one forgets...Red is lying through her teeth. Let's get Alys today and Red tomorrow.

 

i wasn't defensive before, but now you're irking me  >:(  i don't take lightly to being called a liar Aemon, especially when I know exactly when I use MY protection. and none of us were given ailitys that we know of that shows when a person uses their protections.  unless your lieing about not knowing you had a bonestone or using it.

 

i never once said you lied about your veiwing on me, as i don't knwo what my faction is; infact i even argued against the possibility that you might be lieing in favor of a 3rd party pulling the wool over our eyes.

 

and now you OUT your fellow masons to protect your hide and give more credability to your findings even though theres been a previous claim of false findings and someone has directly said your veiwings are wrong?  good way to paint a target on their backs  ::)  least telling everyone who your giving the bone too, if that bonestone will help us sniff out scum better than our finding abilities you just painted a sure target on Wombats back.

And then there are the lies that Alys and Red are spreading about me. We have discussed the dangers of this and decided that it is the best course of action at the moment. We'll just have to cross our fingers and hope for the best.

think outside of the box on this game people.  i used my finder on Pete Night 1 and got a cloudy result.  i asked Wes for clarification and he claimed bonestone.  

 

soemone used a protection/blocking stone on either me or Pete.

 

Aemon your VK might have been blocked last night, if you even used it.  given the descriptions of stones previously used do you think there might be a slim possability you were either blocked or theres a protection stone and someone used it on me?

 

i find it hard Wes would leave out a normal cop and doc in this game, no matter how much he says it will change the face of Mafia.

Okay I have a theory on why Red might be Bonda one night and Beva the next. Remember those undecided's? Could it be that she, and possibly Alys, change every night? Almost like an undecided wavering between two different options? They may not be aware of it, and it would definitely throw confusion and chaos into the game, which our lovely Mod is not averse to.

Because I asked about stuff that ended up relating to Aemon, not Dae, not Red. I can’t say for them because I don’t know. Maybe a reread would help, but frankly, I don’t have the time and shouldn’t be doing this now.

Others have commented on me playing less than my best. Even DPR said I wasn’t bugging him as much as usual. Why shouldn’t I answer assuming you are saying if only to CYOA?

 

If there are so obviously more than 3 factions, and we're all silly not to have noticed you informed us of that fact, then why would you tell me that since you're not Bonda, and you didn't get it about the captains not being mafia, that it should be obvious what faction you ARE a part of? I realized this still didn't answer the question. But back when I only thought it was BEVA, BOVA, and CAPTAINS, that answer made sense by sheer process of elimination. My faction is Beva. The curiousity here is that that's not enough info, is it, Pookie? ;)

Beva Perrada is the Minister's MAN, not MEN. It could be the name of the minister supporters' faction, but it seems, to me, unlikely. Though a lynch on you will clear that up.

I see what you mean Alys, I was thinking those were groups within the three factions, rather than separate, but you have a point! Especially after the Witches.

 

So you say you are Beva, and Barm says you're Bonda, we know he is a Captain so there is no way that was reflected from himself when he viewed you, it could be a deflection instead. The same with Aemon or Dae when viewing Red. It doesn't stop any of you being mafia, however!

 

I'm now getting a headache thinking about this!

 

As for minster's Men, I would say that there would be those close to the minister, looking after his interest! So that could be right!

Well yes, that is what plural means.  No need to apologize, you never know who's literate or not.

 

All I meant is that the impression I got from the story was that the Beva Perrada, the Minister's Candidate, was on a similar level with the Bova Perrada, the Challenger.  If there is a Bova Perrada in this game, an actual person, then there can't be more than one--all the Bova's followers are called Bonda Perrada.

 

So, since I was thinking a Beva Perrada and a Bova Perrada were both supposed to refer to just one person, I didn't think an entire faction would be named after the Minister's Candidate.

 

However, I could be wrong, that was merely the impression that I got from reading (because I've known how to do that since preschool).

I don't respond well to being patronized.  Which is what I've been getting from Alys all game.  I don't think it's a personal thing, as far as I can tell I'm not the only one getting it, but it's always bothered me a LOT.

 

I don't like people who do things like talk down to other people and try to get under their skin, on purpose, because I don't see what that accomplishes.  All it does is make me want to lynch her, and if she's town and I'm town, then all she's done is make it even harder for 2 townies to work together.  And I'm pretty sure that's not helpful.
