[Standard] Wombat's Hamlet Mafia (GAME OVER - mafia wins)

The sun rises on Elsinore, bringing some small measure of relief and warmth to the inhabitants of the castle.  But there are two the sun does not warm, for they have been taken by the chill of death.  The first is found shortly after dawn in a courtyard just inside the walls of the keep.  The cause of death is quite apparent, the body of Marcellus grotesquely broken by the long fall.

 

Aemon - Marcellus, Officer (Doctor) is dead.

 

 

The second is found in his bed by young Hamlet, who had come to wake his late-sleeping friend.  Horatio is indeed asleep, but he does not draw breath and his body is cold.  It is the sleep of death.

 

Talya - Horatio, Friend to Hamlet (Townie) is dead.

 

It is now Day 2.  With 10 alive, it takes 6 to lynch.

No, but maybe better than if we had lynched someone, if Lavi's right. I'm still really interested in learning about that. What did we learn that we can use? Anything?

 

Does anybody have any idea if it was a vig or an SK who did the second killing? I'm not terribly familiar with the source material, not enough to pick up clues. It always helps to know which set up we have.

That was my own fault guys. I didn't have time to get on the computer before I went to work and I've been major busy. I didn't have a chance to send in my NA to protect myself. Sorry again.

I always like to try to figure out which set up we have. If you're right, we have a tracker, a doc, and 3 goons. If it's an SK, we have a cop, a doc and 3 goons. I guess it doesn't make that much difference, but I'm guessing a vig didn't believe Aemon. Poetic justice for when Aemon WAS the vig and took you out, or tried to. lol It sucks but it happens. Vig, if you feel bad, don't. I rarely hit scum as vig. I actually hate the role. If you're an SK, then we'll find you and lynch you... :o

Well that sucks!  I was wondering why Aemon wouldn't protect himself after revealing but he explained that.  HMM, makes you wonder why he would be targeted...it should've been assumed that he was protecting himself.  Let's think about who out of all of these people go and check on a person's sign in date...maybe that will help narrow us down a little on the scum.

This is minimizing our loss by stating it could be worse.  Almost like saying "we're good! - it's not that bad!"  I feel like this isn't something a townie would say.

And neither is this (maybe).  I can't decide if this is mafia trying to find the vig, or vig trying to find the mafia.  Food for thought.

What I'm saying to those of you who care is this, it would be assumed that the healer, the night after roleclaiming, would protect themselves.  I would think that for either of those roles-mafia/vig/SK- it would be too much of a risk on that night to try to kill someone that is very possibly protecting themselves.  I know a few of you on here, for sure, check to see when someone was last active on DM during mafia games.  Usually this is used to determine if a specific person is posting elsewhere and not here which in turn make everyone think they have something to hide.  That technique would be very nifty for any role with a NKing ability to determine if a person with an important role has made their move or not.  ;)

 

That being said, I've got my eye on a few of you  ;D

You're being so nice and helpful it has my hair standing on end (which is a frightful sight itself I can assure you!! lol), and you wanted people the opportunity to reveal at L2 but then swooped in and put Aemon at L1 - that's a big contradiction for you.
