Okay, people, that's 4 1/2 hours from now. We are in sad shape for getting a player-controlled lynch, if my vote count is correct.

Vote count:

Aust (2) – Lily, Rose

Tharen (1) - Jeran

Not voting – Tynaal, Tharen, Tigs, Amadine, Ed, Ellianora, Naeann, Locke, Lia, Aemon, Bela, Pete, Aust, Meesh, Naeann,

We need 8 to lynch.  We have until Midnight tonight

Vote, guys, unless you want to risk losing your finder or healer.

Lily, I can say that I know what you weren't doing last night, and I think that tells us quite a bit - stop being so obtuse. So guys, this does not exonerate her completely, but it does allay some of my initial worries with Lily, if you know what to look for. We have so little evidence right now, we have to start with something, so there you have it.

I think we are actually dealing with more than one killing group. If you're familiar at all with Thomas Covenant, there were multiple factions and with no one posting it is nearly impossible to find anything out. I especially find it frustrating that some of the typically more vocal posters are remaining quiet. As for me - Lily and Rose might call it big game hunting, but I call it practical thinking - the most experienced players are either our greatest assets in finding scum or our greatest threats. Better by far to pressure them now and find out a little something than wait until it is too late.

Since I have absolutely nothing better to go on at the moment, I'm going to [glow=red,2,300]vote Therengore[/glow].

For shame, Aust! Spying on me at night? You bad boy! *giggle*

I have to deal with this later, because it's Wolfie's birthday and I have things to do with her. In the interest of getting a lynch I'll change to Tharen. I'll try to get on again before the deadline. I don't know if I will or not. But, Aust, I'm still watching you.

[glow=red,2,300]Unvote

Vote Tharen[/glow]

If you are big game hunting, Aust, where is your big game vote? Or did you use them already. Still think you are scummy for coming out and saying that is your tactic. And voting out an inactive does not help the town! It allows the mafia to bandwagon a vote much easier.

And I want to know what Lily was doing last night.  8)

Okay, guys...I know I know, I'm slacking.  I don't really understand the fixation on Aust.  Although that one remark did make me a little suspicious about the "if I'm alive tomorrow", I think it's just a minor thing though.  Anyway, I'm going with [glow=red,2,300]Vote Tharen[/glow] for no other reason than, I don't want a modkill.

Rose, let me see if I have this - oh and please correct me if any of this is wrong.

1. You think it is completely okay for the town to have one player sit back and not post the entire game, despite being active elsewhere.

2. You also think that we should not consider that some players here have more experience and skill, and we should just sit back and let them control the game without taking a look at them.

3. Transparency is bad - it's a good opportunity to point a finger at someone and then twist their words, and make allusions without actually providing any sort of evidence. What is REALLY interesting is that the only one who has mentioned (twice now) "killing big fish" is you.

And then you fish (speaking of fish) for information on Lily in what can only be described as a fairly scummy and poorly disguised statement. You've revealed a lot of yourself in that post Rose, and it is going to leave you looking very mafia to a lot of people.

We need a majority lynch today, and I do truly believe that we need to take care of inactives, but you've just emerged as the foremost suspect for me. I'm leaving my vote where it is for now because I'd like to give you a chance to demonstrate some innocence here.

I'll vote [glow=red,2,300]Thorum[/glow] to get the controlled lynch, but I'm keeping my eye on Aust. We have gone round and round on the issue of lynching inactives. I love stringing them up and Aust hates to see me do it. Why the change for this game, Aust?

I believe that's [glow=red,2,300]Tharen[/glow] you want there Aemon. (And yes, that was a vote. :D)

And I do believe that this is the hammer.  Which is okay.  An Inactive Townie going down is acceptable especially with the early success we've got going.  (If he turns out to be mafia, I'll fall over laughing)  But still, lookin' at Aust here as my tentative #1 suspect. (Due in part to a rather large lack of any suspicion elsewhere)

I jumped on to see what happened before going to bed - a true sign of a mafia addict - and found that we are past the deadline, but Mcs hasn't appeared yet. *sings* Anticipation....

Interesting. I wonder if it is a one-time ability or if he really is the stump. Either way, I don't think we should try again tomorrow. I'm going to do a reread and try to identify the quiet voters. There may be scum lurking in there.

Let's hope Mr. Unlynchable is a town role. There was one time in Red's game that I was on a team of lovers - one of us was unlynchable, the other un-nightkillable. Let's hope it's that innocent. I think an unlynchable mafioso is too unfair. I don't see a mod doing that. But you never know....

You may be right, Aemon. I'd actually like to know why Rose wants to know what I was doing last night. That pinged my radar a bit.

Just had a reread.

Tharen is maybe a stump...just maybe. I dont know why would not he post something if he was . Sure,he could not vote, but that doesnt mean he should go all silent to draw suspicion...

Any non voters along with Lily, Tigs and Ed are our most likely suspects for scum atm.

They voted after the hammer, one last chance to make themselves look innocent perhaps.

After doing a reread, I have to agree with Pete. Except about Lily. I feel pretty good about her. Both Tigs and Ed came in after the deadline on Day 1 to lynch David. MCS apparently got an earful about that from the mafia team because of the post he made later. Sounds like something I would do if I were mafia. Come in when there is (supposedly) no risk and vote for someone. Great plan, but it backfired. They came in after the hammer on Koujin day 2, but that was an incredibly fast day, so I can't really call that scummy behavior. Odd coincidence that it was those same two people, though. Bela is also looking suspicious to me. I'll post the reasons she makes me suspicious in a seperate post later today.

This is what wiki says about the tree stump: "The Tree Stump is a pro-town role that has no effects or Night Actions, apart from once per game the Tree Stump may publicly declare themselves as the Tree Stump, after which he can no longer vote  or be killed by anybody. The Tree Stump may be killed before his declaration."

Mcs said this role is a karma stump, so it would naturally be different. Could it be the opposite? Regardless, I'm inclined to think whatever Tharen is, it's probably a town role. I just can't see an unlynchable mafioso, unless it's just odd days or whatever. Even then, it's just not likely in my eyes.

Aemon, that's an interesting observation. Being one of the people who couldn't make it in time to vote on day two before the hammer, I'm not in a position to judge, really, but it's good to note the similarities. I think they bear watching.
