Yes, I know the difference between the mafia and a cult, but the only game I played with a cult in it was the aiel game and they recruited the Sk and he continued taking out mafia and won the game for the cult. That is why I ask about the cult. In my experience they have been able to direct nightkills and they have targeted mafia above all else. Ask Al Jenn. He was the SK in that game and won it for the cult. I do want to thank you for calling me a smart player, though.  ;D

I would say, from the death scene, that Al was a dalek the whole time.  He was rusted and the whatever thingie was so old it was almost dust.  That implies that he was that way for awhile.

I know DPR had the ability to recruit.  He also appears to have been on a team with Al.  Al was a dalek.

DreadPirateRoberts -  Dalek Caan  - not innocent, has been lynched

So was DPR.. with Caan behind his name.  Does that mean he was the head Dalek?  Would he have shown innocent upon viewing?  Or did that just mean he was the cult leader and had the recruiting ability?  Let's hope Al was his only member.

also.. the other non-innocent death.. MCS.

MCS - Queen Victoria - NOT INNOCENT has been night killed.

Is Queen Victoria with the Dalek's or is that a totally different group?  It concerns me that TWO night kills have been non innocents.  It's good news yes.. but does it mean a SK which is bad or a Vig which COULD be good.. if they are smart and use their kill wisely instead of just killing at random.  Unless it was a one time shot.  If so good call on the one time thing.

The other thing is.. if Al and DPR were cult then the mafia targeted Al.  Who did they target the night MCS died?  I would assume he was one of the mafia team.

Sorry for all the posts lol.  Just sorting thoughts after I reread that.  The fact that Al Dalek was rusty implies he was that way for awhile.  I don't know if that means he was the recruit I witnessed or if that means he was Dalek the whole time and someone else was recruited.

It also leaves me confused as to what happened to Al yesterday with that restriction... if it was an elaborate ruse by their team.. (can anyone else see DPR and Al coming up with something like that? ;)  )  and if it was just a ruse then what really happened with the nth post Pete was refering to?

BTW Pete.. AWESOME game so far!  I'm enjoying it.

Yay on getting scum!

I'm wondering why the mafia didn't get an NK.

Do you think our healer is that good or does someone have an immunity type thing?

Okay, so, anyone care to explain what a Dalek is? Like I said before, I haven't seen the show, and that term is one that I have never come across before now..

Ok so what does the Caan after the name mean?  And does Queen Victoria have anything to do wiht them?

The Mod thinks, if you don't know the show check out a wiki, or google.  ::)

A Dalek is basically a robot with an organic core. Their war with the timelords destroyed both races. The Doctor (as he is known on the show) is the last surving timelord. Daleks do have a nasty tendency of showing up unexpectedly in the series, theough the Doctor thought they had all died. Think of them as the ultimate bad guy legion and you're not far off the mark.

On a game related topic, the person that is most suspicious to me right now is still verbal as the most likely recruit and the man that had the robotic PR. It's nothing personal, Verbal, but I think DPR would have recruited you pretty quick because you are a seasoned player. [glow=red,2,300]Verbal[/glow].

Ooh a Lily bite.. even better. :-*

From ze Wiki....

Dalek Caan was originally second in command to Dalek Sec, but Caan ruthlessly overthrew Sec, taking his position as leader of the cult, after Sec became the Human Dalek.

Daleks are organisms from the planet Skaro, integrated within a tank-like or robot-like mechanical casing. The resulting creatures are a powerful race bent on universal conquest and domination, utterly without pity, compassion or remorse. Various storylines portray them as having had every emotion removed except hate, leaving them with a desire to purge the Universe of all non-Dalek life. Occasionally they are shown as experiencing other emotions, including fear, although such occurrences are rare.[1]

Collectively they are the greatest enemies of the series' protagonist, the Time Lord known as the Doctor. Their famous catchphrase is "Exterminate!", with each syllable individually screeched in a frantic electronic voice.

Can't really find anything about the queen.

Yeah, don't the Not Innocent's have their own nk? Unless they are all working seperately and just happen to take out each other. It's really weird.

Aemon, it was a PR given to me.  As you can see, that PR is gone - it was in effect for Day 2.  Look back at my posts, it started with my first post of the day and ended when I was speculating on night and Lily confirmed it for me.  ;)

I would imagine that the Mod(s) wouldn't give a PR to a recruit - that's way too easy a tell and would get them lynched.  I'm assuming there is a PR giver in this game.

Sorry for the drop in and not posting useful stuff, but after catching up on the other game I'm beat and can hardly keep my eyes open.  I'll catch up with this game tomorrow.

Do we know when is the deadline?  Late Friday or Saturday/Sunday?

Daalek Caan became the leader of all Daaleks in the recent seasons. So, hopefully we can assume we killed a cult leader/mafia godfather type role.

Queen Vic was in the warewolf episode. It took place in a manor called Torchwood (spin off show, anyone?), and it is presumed that the beginning of torchwood came about because of the Queen. It's a secret agency designed to investigate and defend England against paranormal/alien type things. Well that's what it turns into, anyway. But the root of it was with the Queen who only appeared in one episode. So there's nothing super special about her, I imagine. I could easily see her as being vanilla or only a very minor role. Then again, who knows what the mod god has spun out for us? :)
