I would love to Lavinya, but we don't get them here. So... no Dr Who.

Also, sleepy. Very sleepy now. And I just started work.

*sighs*

No wierdness...other than my normal.  ;D  The thought just struck me that this is the way Wes is suggesting we all vote. Someone claims innocent, kill him to find out. The witch story is absolutely true and quite fitting to the circumstances.

As a complete aside, you may also be interested in knowing that Lysergic acid from the ascomycete fungus Claviceps purpurea is speculated to have played a key role in the Salem witch trials - this fungus is hypothesized to have infiltrated grain crops in the 1700's, which made it into the food chain and the lysergic acid causes hallucinations, convulsions, etc.,... all symptoms of being 'bewitched'. And then of course, yes - they had the floating trials. Nae - I think he means they were killed if they floated because of their dresses, and died if they sank - it was really 'lose-lose' for them.

Back more on topic...yes you really do need to see Dr. Who! And I agree with Aemon that this probably will turn into some kind of cult. I'm curious why you think we shouldn't flush out the werewolf first Aemon.

What do you mean chose not to play?  I am playing.  You are ignoring. :-*  Does the big hairy werewolfy not wanna play my game?

You are talking nonsense. But lucky you, I'm going to play your game anyway. Ready?

Just in case someone else cares...

Werewolf candidates:

Aemon

Nae

Tigs

Lavinya

Aust

DPR

Jeran

Al Jenn

Lia

Verbal

That's everyone who posted between Pete's announcement and the scene.  Aemon, Nae, and DPR were the most prolific posters during that time, but that really doesn't mean anything since someone else could have slipped in and hit the nth post with their single reply.

Weird thing has happened prior to this post, but not necisarily adjacent to it.

Werewolves are not great spellers, tis true, but don't hold that against their timing...

Checking in for day 2, but I don't know of who to vote for yet, so I'm just gonna do a re-read (AGAIN) and see if I can pick something out that I missed. :-\

Who turned you into the grammar Nazi?

Interesting! Thanks for posting that Pookie.

I'm still rather confused why DPR is such a good candidate for lynch. Is there any specifics? I will say however I'm leaning towards a vote for DPR, he has been acting suspiciously.

omg!  :o I just remembered I hadnt actually posted here!!!!!

Im here and still kicking

BTW I strated watching Dr Who from the werewolf episode onwards so this was my first ever does of Dr and it was Awesome!

hmmm so now we have a werewolf in here.

hmm, also an anti-town has been killed.  either we have two scum teams or a SK running around.

and now it seems we have a werewolf (possabily cult) in the game as well.

because that vamp dude is creepy

If she floated she was a witch and burned at the stake. If she sank, she was innocent. Very few women lived through the test.

I can see where I caused the confusion. When I said that few women lived through the test, I meant that few women were found innocent without drowning. A very small percentage of those that sank were pulled out before they drowned and those that didn't sink were burned at the stake. Sorry. I should have spoken more clearly.

Wes, my reasons are the same as they were on day 2 and night 2. I have already admitted that day 1 lynches are almos always on innocents. Innocents outnumber non-innocents and the law of averages takes care of the rest. What I am saying is that you are carrying that same attitude into day 2. I find that strange considering you posted this on day 1.

Oh, stop with the flattery...*blushes*

No, an educated vote is always better than a random vote, which is your point. I just didn't realizw that our group was so sparse with the posting.

We do need to put our best suspects forward. I'll b back,,,

You are pretty much doing the opposite of what you say.

Then, on day 2 you said:

Look at it this way - we stand to gain the most info by lynching ed now - he has insured that with his claim.

* If he is telling the truth, we have learned a lot about what kind of roles are out there.

* If he is lying, we ned to go back and find out who he is covering before, because they very well might have another daykill.

* Lavinya is making sense to me.

Trying to pull back from a lynch at this point is not a great idea - look at the deadline.  This is mafia, townies die. Especially when they hammer themselves.  :P

The right play is to let the lynch stand, sober everyone up and get the innocents to start playing instead of messing around.

I asked this question before during and after Ed's lynch. I'm going to quote the one from directly after, and I'm wondering why you STILL haven't answered the question, considering it was your idea.

Overreaction, Wes? I get the feeling you want to lynch a few more innocents before anyone figures out your playing for the other team. I tend to get annoyed when I make my case and everyone basically ignores everything I have to say and then lynch an innocent. And there you are saying it's an overreaction. We NEED to lynch some innocents to understand the game. I say that's a three-coil steamer. What info did we get from the fact that Ed was innocent? Only the fact that he was innocent. Gee, I'm so glad we went ahead and did that. Why don't we just lynch everybody else who says they're innocent. Would that do it for you, Wes. And yes, this is sarcasm. Just in case you decide to try and use this against me later.  ;) I would like to know what info you believe we have gleaned from the death of Ed.

Whenever you feel like answering, I'll be here. Unfortunately you seem to want to shift all the attention back to the people who are voting for you. I have been asked the same question at least once before, Wes. I will refer you to my previous answer just to save us all time.

It's more his pithy remarks, casual statements and overall glibness that are spiking my radar. The fact that he seems so callous toward the town (yes, I understand that townies usually are the casualties the first couple of days till people get a bead on the scum). When all of these things come together, I get the unsettling feeling that Wes is trying to play us all in one of his grand manipulations. When we hang him and he pops anti-town, we'll know we have cut the head from the beast.

These are the reasons I believe Wes is scum. I think we all know that if Wes is scum, he is probably the one making most of the strategy, even if he isn't the godfather. We need to take him out. In my eyes, he is confirmed scum. That is why he needs to be put down, Al Jenn.

EDIT: Hehehe. Happens to us all. No worries.

Notice how Nae thought she was bringing the heat earlier, but then she backed down?  That's what players do when they've got a handful of nothin'.  She has no reason to vote me other than it fits whatever plan she's trying to work, and make no mistake - there are plans out there being worked.

There is quite a lot of interaction between her and Aemon though. If you go back and read a few of their posts, you'll see where they play off of each other. It looks like they might be in communication.

And since Aemon has joined her in the rush to lynch me, I'm guessing that they are not 'friendly' comunicators.

Amigos, whenever someone tries to lynch another person based on all metagmae evidence, that is your tip off; they are not working in the interest of the town.

Aemon has done the the honor of proving this point for all of you to see by lisintg his reasons for voting for me:

Reason 1 - My attitude. To which I say, "get serious". Aemon keeps trying to use the same point he carried from day 1 that my "attitude" about and innocent lynch was bad. And for the record, my "attitude" is this: It happens all of the time and we all know it.  Take the infomration it gives you and move on. Any other attitude points to a noob or a mafia.

Reason 2 - The day 1 votes were educated votes. ed acted like a weirdo. SO what if he said he was innocent - everybody says they are innocent. Another bad point...and trying to lead the game into thinking I contracdicted myself. Scummy move.

Reason 3 - I've already answered that question - which you decided to leave out. You are either very sloppy, or hoping that no one goes back to catch you in your lie. I'll let you dig for it.  :-*

Now, it's also interesting to note that Aemon has picked me out of all of the people on ed's lynch to blame everything on.

I wasn't the only one that voted for ed. I din't even drive the lynch against him. I just voted for him as soon as he pinged me. So now I'm public enemy number 1? You get the feeling that this has nothing to do with ed? If you do, you'd be right.

This has to do with Nae and Aemon trying (and poorly) to take me out because they know that they are on a team together, and I'm not on their team. That's it. Thatey don't have any better arguments.

They're just hoping that players who havn't even read the thread just bop on, see me highest in the vote count and bandwagon. And they just might get me that way  :P

Play, people! C'mon now!

Hey, also, After reading about the werewolf, I'm guessing that someone in the game has the means to "see" who that player is - a sparkly moonlit jewel, or some such - feel free to use it on me so that you can verify that I ain't your wolf...

You don't disappoint, Wes. Once again you try to twist everything and send it back to the person challenging you without actually responding to anything stated. I applaud you. It's not gonna work this time.

First off, I have been onto you since day 2. Ed was lunched on Day 2, not 1.

Second, I was the first person to vote for you.

Third, you have not answered my question or you would have quoted it to prove me wrong.

Fourth, You throw out accusations that Nae and I are having off thread communication without offering any type of evidence. This is because you know it's not true and you know you cannot prove it.

Fifth, please show me where Nae backed down. I still her vote on you. If your going to bring all of these accusations, I'm gonna need you to start quoting, because there's a lot you're saying that was never said.

This is a typical DPR tactic to throw the suspicion onto someone else when he starts getting votes. Don't be fooled by it. He is scum.

1. Min was killed by Ed day one

2. Ed was lynched day one

3. MCS was NK'ed night one

Aemon, I'm just going to sit back and let you two go at this and watch trying to get back into the mentality of this game. However I will metagame and say his callus attitude is identical to yours in our disney mafia game for Players death.

I don't see much between Nae and Aemon, except that she agreed for no apparent reason. It is 1:40 here and I need to get up in 4 hours so goodnight everyone, play nicely.

*Steals relics*... Wait... Night *Waves*

I only agreed with Aemon on the fact that Wes is scum.  I'm not voting for you for metagaming reasons.  I'm voting for you because I KNOW you are the werewolf. ;)  I have not backed down.. I'm just not gonna play battle of wits with you.  I gave my evidence.  If people decide not to take it I will decide then how better to get my point across.
