Personally if I were Barm I would neither confirm nor deny anything. It's so early in the game, it doesn't matter one lick whether we know for sure or not he's finder. He's put himself into a position where if he turns out to be wrong, he's most likely going to be lynched immediately after DS. Besides, who's to say we would believe him one way or the other anyway?

 

All I know is that we've got too many people outed right now (for it being this early in the game) for us to out anymore townie roles. The Healer(s) are probably crying right now as it is. :P

OK, for those disenters, explain exactly why barms would do that? There is no role on the list that actually would benefit from this that is anti town. If he's the anti something, he's just going to die, so I don't see it as a solo. The most benefit a mafia team would get is to buy time for their third and only if there was no interaction previous to this. So... since none of that makes enough sense to risk on DAY 2!! I think I have to try to follow through with this. Especially after you guys followed me on nothing but trust.

Bottom line - if we lynch DS and Barm hasn't denied being the finder beforehand, and DS flips innocent . . . I'm not going to buy any "I wasn't claiming finder" line from him.

 

So I guess what I'm saying is, if Barm isn't claiming Finder, he'd better tell us now.

I agree 110%...I think that Barm knows that people remember this tactic that he used in a previous game and if it gets Pete lynched and he is innocent then he will do exactly as Kivam said and say "I wasn't claiming finder. 

 

Once I hear from Barm and he addresses this concern then I will probably vote Pete but until then I don't trust a veteran using tactics that he used previously.

 

I know that was basically repeating everything Kivam said but I wanted to say it in my own words and hope it makes sense! :D

Lily we think so much alike and I have just about got all I need from this day so you can throw a vote on me if you got enough information, or any leads. I have been vocal about my suspicouns but I would suggest you keep yours locked down tight until you have everything formulated.  :-*

Heh, didn't mean to spam. I didn't want to vote for DS, purely because Barm said so with pretty pictures. I would have rather seen some sort of decisive argument, or him come out as finder, or even profess a gut hunch, as opposed to the big fat nothing he gave us. And why, since he has actually posted on DM since, has he not bothered to stop in here and answer questions? I smell scum. He's probably sitting back, watching everyone bandwagon DS with glee, without him having needed to do anything more but flash something shiny. Okay, explanation for the weirdness yesterday - if somebody says "I agree with Pandy" then I am immune from night actions for the night. Hence my asking people to target me. My vagueness about the exact details of the role was an effort to make the mafia scared of whatever powers I would have, and thus to try and draw their nightkill (which I would have been immune from). This doesn't really seem to have worked.

Kivam sacrificed Reyoru?  It was Kivam who advised keeping Reyoru around until Alys came out with her own reveal -- and you were the one who called him out on it:

That's a rather strange 180 on the matter.  How coincidental that it came when Kivam backed up Barm's "hunch" that you were scum.

 

I'm fine with voting you right now, but I agree that we should see what Barm has to say before we hammer DS.

In my opinion I think Kiv planned Rey's reveal. Kiv backed Rey and said we should keep him around. I think they are a team and Kivam is mastermining some devious plot. I can see it unfolding.

Funny, I was just about to make the same exact post.  I'm not sure what Lily's seeing, but Pete's exhibiting the typical signs of a scum caught dead to rights - rapid spinning, outright contradiction to previous theories, desperately reaching for any possible lifeline he can find.

 

I'm fine with voting you right now, but I agree that we should see what Barm has to say before we hammer DS.
