So I am having a bummer of a day, car broke down, etc. So I go to check my mail and there is package in there. I jump up and down when I see the name on it and than I use my keys to rip it open. Yes I was in my car but I had to see it, so I sat parked in front of someone else's driveway and looked through it. *G* I screamed and so did my daughter when we saw what was inside.

I got Twinnie mail today as well for the Disney challenge.

I took pics, but I can't find the stupid cord that connects the camera to the computer. I'll keep looking. But my socks are gray and pink with pink butterflies and I loves them a ton. I put them on the second staffy gave me the package. They matched my outfit that I was wearing. *grins*

 

They didn't come at a bad time for me, but a good time. I got a call from a school district today and they said that they have to check on my references, but to expect an offer this week for a Kindergarten teaching job. The mail was a nice surprise right afterwards. It was my first interview; yay for me. ;D

I have that shawl in red!!! I have that shawl in red!!! and I totally strutted it around the city, even took the bus in the pooring rain to show it off, acting all Aes Sedai (well the glare was there, the serenity not so much with my hair glued to my forehead and jammed in my clapping teeth)!! those are totally awesome!! ;D

Aww..but sadly I didn't make the socks... :-\  It is on my list of things to learn to do..how to crochet socks for my kinsters! *nods*  LOL 

 

I will dig out the pattern for you love!  It is really simple..actually from a magazine and called a Mountain Woman shawl.  The thing I really like about it is that it starts at the center back...so there isn't a super long foundation chain to crochet through!  You simple add onto the end each time!
