Recommended Posts

The following rules apply for classes:

Novices: 4 posts minimum, each post to be 250 words minimum, unless special dispensation has been given.

(please read the reqs http://www.dragonmount.com/forums/topic/37903-novice-reqs-applicable-from-21-july-2009-all-novices-ru-please/)

Accepted: 6 posts minimum, each post to be 250 words minimum, unless special dispensation has been given.

(please read the reqs http://www.dragonmount.com/forums/topic/38045-accepted-reqs-applicable-from-21-july-2009-all-accepted-ru-please/)

Intro to Saidar:

This class is divided into 4 threads. Each novice need post only once in each thread. Each novice post must be a minimum of 250 words.

If an Accepted is leading this class, she can easily make 2 extra posts to make up her 6 posts minimum.

Teachers, please structure the above class to allow for that.

1) Post a signup thread, which closes after the Teacher has done her 1st post.

2) The 4 threads for this class must be posted a maximum of 1 week apart.

3) Each novice has 2 weeks to post in a thread.

4) The class leader must please pm each signed up person with the link to each thread as it goes up, and nudge people if they have not posted.

If you know yourself to be a very slow poster (ie you will not be able to do it in the time frame given above), please arrange to have a one-on-one class with your Mentor or someone else approved by the MoN.

Any questions?

Here is an example of a one-on-one Intro to Saidar class:

http://forums.dragon...ic,40222.0.html

This one is divided into 5 lessons, as it is set up for an Accepted teaching a Novice. Where it is used by an Aes Sedai, it can be changed into four classes, by combining 2 of them, or it can be kept at 5, but please remember to notify the MoN BEFOREHAND. Whichever way you go, all the points must be touched on, or the class will not count. If you have any questions or problems, contact me :D

If any Aes Sedai wishes to teach the group class, or any other class (any class or lecture), please contact the MoN for permission and/or the format and content).

Each class will have to be evaluated seperately, to see if that is needed.

It does make it easier when there are people who RP at different speeds - the slower ones don't keep the faster ones back, and the faster ones don't make the slower ones have the heeby jeebys trying to catch up.

Obviously, when it's a one-on-one situation, only one thread is needed.

Quick question. When you say...

Each novice need post only once in each thread.

Do you mean I can ONLY post once? Like there's a cap to it? Or are you saying MINIMUM of once? Just asking.

There is a minimum of one post per class. Obviously, if you want to post more you can go for it. I remember having a heated *cough* discussion with a fellow novices in one of my classes XD. However, posting 3 times in one lessons does not mean you don't have to post in the other classes! :)
