I chose Andor, specifically the Two Rivers district, possible EF or DR.

It was a hard choice because I love the ocean but I also love mountains. I hate heat and love the cold but the Borderlands are too close to a whole lot of creepy things for my comfort. And I don't like big cities.

I think the TR(Andor) would be a great place to live. It is beautiful, quiet, it's not that far of a ride to the mountains, the people are very hospitable and self sufficient, the ruler is benevolent and very far away, and you're not likely to get taxed.

Pretty easy choice, of all the countries or city states, Andor is the only one that would give the common man a voice.  Why on earth you would choose Tar Valon I have no idea, any goverment that would let Elidia lead it is not a City/State I would choose.  Besides as we have seen over and over, Aes Sedai are to stupid to rule anything, including themselves.  In this ,the Seanchan are right, all Aes Sedai should be Damane.

Ya know, I actually think it'd be cool to live as an Aiel. You'd end up with like, the best combat skills ever, and everyone around you would be fit. SOudns great to me. ^_^

I chose 'other'. Not because I have an 'other' country I'd like to live in, but because I wouldnt choose any of the ones listed. Except maybe Andor, Caemlyn would be nice.

I would perhaps like to live in the Borderlands, or Illian? Or Tar Valon.

Let's look at this logically

Domani women - Nice to look at but all talk. (all horn and no driveshaft, as it were)  Manipulative as well.

Cairhien - Completely repressed in public.  Also manipulative and devious

Illian - Too few examples but too damp so who cares.  I imagine it would be like living in Houston.  Lan's reaction to the smell while going across the bridge of flowers doesn't bode well.

Aiel - Kiss you with steel, what else could make it less pleasant except possibly the Wise Ones.

Tear - Fish and mud

Altara - Too bossy by a half

Mayene - If Berelain is any example, you'd have to keep an eye on her.  I'm not too keen on the "drowned lands" that appear to surround the place.

Andor - The women are repressed in public and likely in private as well.  Makes me think too much of Wales.

Anywhere in the borderlands - I don't want to live anyplace that gets so cold the trees explode.

I guess that leaves the Blight

I would choose the Aiel Waste, and my proffession would be architect/scientist, ohyeah!! Then I would invent so brilliant stuff that life would be a luxury for the Aiel, and I would get a high position, hellyeah!!

Do Sea Folk have a land? I'm there on their ships, always played for the skins at football(soccer) :D

Yeha, that would be Tremalking!

I chose Arad Doman, seems like a nice place to be a woman, wihtout being abusive like in Far Madding. Plus, its ok to Channel there, and its warm!

I choose Other more specifically Arafel. Always liked the idea of using two swords at once and besides that I just think I'd look awesomely cool with bells on my two braids. ;D

Tremalking, along with all the other so-called Sea Folk Isles are actually mostly inhabited by the Amayar, a completely distinct race with its on culture. Very few Sea Folk actually live on them--mostly just the governers.

But where do they live then, the Sea Folk?

On their ships. =) I believe it says somewhere, probably the white book, that when a Sea Folk woman is going to have a baby, she goes out on the water, even if it's just in a rowboat. They don't get off their ships much at all.

Hmm...where would I choose? I'd have to say somewhere in the south like Tear, maybe, where it's warm. I don't like cold weather.
