You stand around the smoldering ruins of Jenkins barn, with several other folk from town. It was a frantic night as you all hauled buckets of water from the nearest well, and directed the slaves to haul more. But the fire was out finally, though there wasn’t much of a barn left to save.

 

Andrew Jackson steps through the rubble and stops in the middle of it, looking around at everyone.

 

“Ok, here’s the deal. It has come to my attention that we have some Northern sympathizers amongst our ranks, and that they have started this fire. Well, I’ll be damned if I’m letting any Northerner’s get my slaves. I’m  good honest American, and I need my cotton picked. Now, none of you will be leaving this town until I find out who burned Jenkins farm. To ensure that you all stay, General Lee has agreed to cordon off the town. Nobody, no slave, fool, nor honest Texan gets out until I know.”

 

And with that, he turned and walked away.

 

 

GAME ON! you have until 9 am my time (EST I Think) on thursday for the first lynch.(it's now just after 10)

I tried to put it in the story started by alys. But OF COURSE it was the same random vote as a couple of pages before. With "fake", I meant it didn't count.
