Welcome to Atlanta, folks! The fastest track on the circuit. This track spun out a tornado last summer, so if that doesn't tell you how fast this track is, nothing well.

Last year's winner is Carl Edwards, who is sitting on Kyn's bench this week. ;)

This year's pole sitter is Kasey Kahne, who's on Daemon's active list. That competition could get interesting! :D

This week's competitions are:

Kyn vs. Daemon

Kyn- #48 Jimmie Johnson, #20 Tony Stewart, #24 Jeff Gordon

Daemon- #12 Ryan Newman, #9 Kasey Kahne, #38 Elliott Sadler

Lor vs. Mo

Lor-#8 Dale Earnhardt, Jr, #16 Greg Biffle, #5 Kyle Busch

Mo- #01 Joe Nemecheck, #6 Mark Martin, #29 Kevin Harvick

Twinny vs. Hero

Twinny-# 43 Kyle Petty, #17 Matt Kenseth, #55 Michael Waltrip

Hero- #1 Martin Truex, Jr, #25 Brian Vickers, #42 Casey Mears

We're currently under a rain delay, but they've got every available vehicle on the track, drying the asphalt, so we'll be underway within the hour.

Good luck everyone! [/i]

OK, they officially called the race for today. So, those of you who have the option, make sure to tune in at 11 EST tomorrow, to Fox when they'll try again! I'll have the radio on, but I can't post from work, so ya'll will just have to keep up with it yourselves. LOL

Bristol next week, folks!

"It's Bristol, baby!" ~Dale Earnhardt, Jr after his infamous win there last year.

*pokes 'em both* Ya'll just hush. There's more to it than just driving in circles.

And for the record, most of the tracks are oval and tri-oval, with a few road courses tossed in on the side.

they'll race tomorrow, Twinny, fear not. They'll get the Atlanta race in. I'll just miss it. *grumbles*

The good news is that we've got Bristol next week! *grins* I love Bristol. It's like bumper cars or an Enduro Race! *laughs* the one with who gets across the line first wins, but keeping your car in one place is harder than it sounds! LOL

*grins* I just want to feel all that power completely at my command. I can do 50 or I can do 150 and it's all based on how hard I push the accelerator at the time. What a high!

*laughs and pokes Paet*

Were any of them racing the Golden Corral 500 this weekend in Atlanta, sugar? Yeah, I didn't think so. ;)

I'll sit down and run the numbers tonight and let ya'll know who won. Or, I could be lazy and wait a day and let NASCAR.com do it for me. *laughs* Ah, I'm not that bad.

However, Daemon racked up on points this week, since Kasey Kahne won the pole, lead a lap, won, and won from the pole this week. That's a nice chunk of points. Glad you were racing Kyn this week, babe. That would've hurt my scores! LOL

Actually, very few of these races are on cable. Most are on Fox, TNT carries some...and there's a new station that's in the mix, but I don't remember who it is. I'll try to keep you posted on which ones are on what channel, so you can watch and laugh at us, if you want, Jade. ;) This weekend it's on the Speed channel, which is cable. Sorry. :(

Alright, this week's results:

Kyn beat Daemon (don't ask me how!) 475-395

Lor beat Mo 417-328

Twinny beat Hero 374-300

*passes Twinny 10 points for winning this week and winks*

Get ready for the wildest show in NASCAR next weekend at Bristol! This is the track that Dale, Jr won at last year that landed him in the spotlight with the sensors and cost him 25 points that could've had him well placed at the beginning of the Chase for the Championship. That was the Fall race, but Dale's starting the year off better than last year. Who'll win this week? Who knows? The man with the most car wins at Bristol, where the cars look more like they've been through an Enduro race than a Cup race. But then...

"It's Bristol, Baby!" ~Dale, Jr. (just before the curse word slip. ;) )
