Actually voting 8 is a Loki tradition, and seeing as he IS in this game, I'll let him vote for me. I only keep up the tradition when he's not playing. And I ALWAYS make sure everyone know's its his tradition.

It is terrible that the chances of an innocent dying during the first day are so high. But because we still have time before the first hour is up, I prefer to give those who have been voted a chance to defend themselves. I'll sleep with my thoughts and see what the morning brings.

I'm going to wait until everyone has posted before I cast my vote.  Short of voting at random - or unless something fairly drastic happens - I think it'll either be a random vote or one based on intuition for me.

I am a townie. If there is one thing I learnt from watching my own game is that the Scum never try to start a bandwagon. Atleast in the early days...

I would like to conclude by saying that Vemy and Thorum, are probably innocent, don't know about Leelou as she might of been voting for me just to defend herself.

You are trying to force people to role reveal on day one, or in this case hour one, which does not seem like an innocent thing to do because then the finder and healer would be out in the open and we would lose them very early in the game.

1) What makes you think there is only one finder and one healer? Or even one at all?

 

2) It is far better for the town to kill someone then to give the scum a free NK

 

3) If we are going to kill someone wouldn't it be better to check with them incase they DO have a valuable role? I mean a revealed doc/cop/roleblocker is still better then, a dead one...

 

Do you have a better plan? Do you expect the scum to just go

I think you are innocent Leelou (something from your last post), but random lynches is the only way to start. And me creating a stir creates a lot more infomation then simply randomly lynching some.

I obviously do not think mafia will come right out and say who they are. I'm just saying that it is best to protect individuals with roles by not having them reveal unless there is a reason for them to, otherwise it puts too much information hour one into the hands of the mafia. Any healer should not reveal unless they are being threatened of a lynch. Likewise, finders should not reveal unless they come up with a scummy finding or are being threatened of a lynch.

 

I'm all for random voting to start off a game, just at the moment I feel no need for a random vote because I'm voting you for reasons I have stated before.
