DRAGONMOUNT

A WHEEL OF TIME COMMUNITY

What do YOU want to happen?

Recommended Posts

The Last Chapter:

For the very last thing I read in aMoL I would love to see the book flash forward one cycle of the wheel and have someone blow the Horn of Valere and have Rand, Mat, and Perrin be among the summoned heroes.

That would require none of these souls being spun out at the time, and in the case of the Dragon that is particularly unlikely. Also, being forced to be woven out again and again forever when the Pattern goes wrong hardly strikes me as something nice, and therefore it is not a fate I particularly desire to be thrust upon three heroes I have nothing against, but whatever you prefer.

At this point I just want it to be good...more than good, like...as good as Shadow Rising, Fires of Heaven and Lord of Chaos mixed together, but with a real ending-GOOD.

I want a lot of death too I think. That would be nice.

All the Forsaken dead. Fain dead. Taim dead...Cadsuane dead.

I think maybe Lan should die. Gawyn should die because he's pretty useless. Most of the Seanchan should just die. They should overdose on kaf and perish along with all but a remnant of the Aiel as prophesied. I wish RJ would have killed the seafolk instead of the Amayar. I would have gasped for air after laughing for hours in relief. Kill the Red Ajah, or at least their organizational purpose now that saidin is clean.

I wouldn't mind if Faile dies, but I think she probably won't. Perrin might die, and I would be pretty sad, but at this point he needs to do something that reminds me of how he was my favorite character after reading Shadow Rising.

Egwene...I guess she can die. I wouldn't mind if she lived either.

Nynaeve should live to mourn Lan.

Mat should live of course, with all of his scars and memories.

Birgitte can die so she can be reunited with Gaidal Cain.

Moiraine can live.

Rand...I don't know honestly. Maybe he should die.

What I want to happen:

I want Rand to survive, in some way. The DO should be sealed away, properly, because if the DO is killed it'll just over tip the balance between good/evil and then everything would go wrong.

I'd be interesting to see a few conversations between Rand/Friends and Forsaken without them killing/capturing one another.

Faile should just die. Padan Fain should die as well. Preferably balefired  ;)

Semirhage should get over her obsession with hurting people and turn to the Light. Mesaana or Mogheidien killing Shaidar Haran. Cyndane (Lanfear) realising that she still loves Lews Therin, and deciding to help Rand.

Egwene should have a go at Elaida, and then become Amrylin Seat. Elayne finding out Morgase's alive. Elayne’s brothers should realise how stupid they’re being about Rand.

All the Seanchan need to be left in the middle of the Aiel Waste or something. Apart from the Damane. They should become Aes Sedai. And the Sea Folk need to stop being so arrogant! It would be nice for Rand to have human emotions again.  :)

That's all I can think of right now.  ::)

(Sorry if there's any spelling mistakes)

Hi, reading this topic got me out of my stupor (defiance to type in the forums, not that I typed that much anyways), so bear with me as I destroy all conflict within the stories and make it a fairy tale ending. BTW, I liked that guy Tyrell's story, on around page 4 or something. That was a nice one.  ;D

Loial and the craziness with his new wife, but he manages to convince the Ogiers as well as the ones that are part of the Deathwatch Guard, to help Rand on his quests

Mat saving Moiraine using his cleverness and skills with his hands, his last confrontation with the Aelfinn/Eelfinn, after all that seeing him manage to coordinate with the other amazing generals of the time, (Seanchan and otherwise) in order to create a unified army

Perrin returning to Caemlynn, then when the time comes, have Perrin lead the wolves as well as other wolfbrothers (Elyas, and others) to the Last Battle

Morgase realized as the previous Queen, and recognized as being alive. Elayne/Gawyn (as Tyrelle said) watch as their world collapses around them, and then they all apologize to all those people who they slighted while thinking their mother was dead

Galad/The Children will realize that Rand is only trying to help the world, then they bind themselves to Rand, Calling themselves "The Swords of the Dragon" LOL

Egwene managing to take over the tower right before Elaida makes an insane choice (such as declaring war on Rand), then making an alliance with Rand/The Seanchan

The Sea-Folk tamed by someone (as someone mentioned, maybe by the Wise Ones)

Elayne making an alliance with Rand/The Seanchan, and learning some humility

Nynaeve submits her will to Rand, she and Rand will team up as two of the strongest channelers

Lan leads the Remnants of the Malkier to small skirmishes weakening the DO, until Mat arrives to take control of the unified armies

Min doesn't really play much of a role, except maybe teaching Rand some humility

Cadsuane realizes that she would be much better off eating rocks while living in the desert, and goes off to do that, after she kills some Trollocs near the beginning of the Last Battle

Moiraine returns to help out Rand, everyone watches as their world collapses, except for Farstrider, Thom, and Mat

Thom returns to help unify everyone against the Dark One

Logain and everyone realizes that Taim is Demandred, they all kill Demandred/Taim and unifies the Black Tower in order to ally themselves with Rand

Rand takes Mat and Perrin, with the unified armies of the wolves/humans, to Tarmon Gai'don, they have lots of fun killing the Dark Army, then Rand takes the Two Towers (a LotR allusion perhaps?), and seals the DO permanetly

Post-Last Battle

Rand makes a unified tower, with Aes Sedai and Ashaman, Logain and Egwene as the heads of the tower, then makes loads of babies with his harem

Lan makes loads of babies with Nynaeve with a newly-recreated Malkier

Perrin makes loads of babies with Faile, and they rebuild Manetheren

Mat makes loads of babies with Tuon, and helps Tuon rule

Thom finds out that he can still have babies, and makes loads with Moiraine

Gawyne has loads of babies with Egwene

Basically, everyone lives happily ever after

Sorry about second post, but I just realized some more things that really need to happen. BTW, sorry about the babies thing, just read other peoples posts and realized it might've seemed as if my post was copying other. I apologize if I accidentally copied your post a little... And someone needs to give Great Lord of the Dark a warning for spamming/writing useless comments

Brigitte + Gaidal Cain thing happens anyway, despite Brigitte being old enough to be his mother

The Two Rivers Folk (Tam, Perrin's Da, Mat's Da) to meet up with everyone (Egwene, Nynaeve, Rand, Perrin, Mat) and realize how much they've grown, as well as how amazing they are

Siuan + Gareth Bryne managing to decide their feelings for each other, then they also make loads of babies

The Aiel just team up with the unified army

Aviendha makes loads of babies

Fairy Tale Ending FTW

Okay I am pretty sure that RJ confirmed Taim is NOT Demandred.  There was also someone who asked him why no one ould figure out that it was Graendal that killed Asmo and RJ replied that no one was reading close enough to figure it out so that is basicaly confirming who killed Asmo.  It makes perfect sense.

I would like to see Egwene take over the white tower and fill it with Aes Sedai and The Kin for women to retire into.  Then the Black tower is destroyed according to Elaida's foretelling so all the Asha'man move up near Tar Valon and start their tower over again.

I want Morgase to reveal herself after Elayne wins the throne of Andor and Gawyn to realize he has been a complete @$$ about Rand.

I want Galad to Take Berelain back to Mayene and keep her quiet for the rest of the book.

I want Rand to survive the last battle somehow even though it is unlikely.

I want Nynaeve and Lan to go down in a huge wonderful battle together while decimating every trolloc and Myrdraal in existence.

I want all the stupid forsaken to die and stop screwin everything up.

So basically I want a happy fairytale ending.  Sorry to everyone who wants nothing but death.

I want: The DO defeated.

The scene where Berelain meets Galad to be on screen.

Logain to kill Taim in single combat.

Lan an Nyneave to survive and have a brew of kids.

Thom and Morianne to survive and have a load of kids.

Ditto Siuan and Gareth.

The red agah to survive by becoming an agah whose members only responsibility is to get impregnated by male channelers(;D).

Cadsuane to take on the job of teaching all members of the White Tower some humility.

Nyneave to have to bow to Mat as Prince of the Ravens (even if just one)

Rand and his three headed harem to survive the Last Battle.

And most of all for Tuon-Mat, Faile-Perrin and Harem-Rand to visit the Two Rivers just so that the town council and woman's group will have to acknowledge the boys "done good".

What I want to happen: Cyndane (Lanfear) realising that she still loves Lews Therin, and deciding to help Rand.

Surely she would have to start loving him before she realised she still does?

Right about Taim not being Demandred, but maybe you should check out that quote:
Question from Vercingetorix: Why do you think everyone has a hard time figuring out who killed Asmodean? Graendal killed him.

Robert Jordan: I don't know why people have a hard time figuring that out. To me it seems intuitively obvious even to the most casual observer. The reason I won't tell people though is that I am enjoying watching them squirm entirely too much. It's probably bad for me.

So he admits who dunnit, and then starts talking about why he won't (not didn't) tell? We know it was Graendal because we worked it out, not because of this quote.

I want Rand to survive the last battle somehow even though it is unlikely.
To live you must die mean anything? He'll probably die and then survive. So everyone is happy.

Mr Ares, I believe she did love Lews Therin. Surely, if she only wanted power, she wouldn't have tried so hard to get Rand, when she could have just flirted with Sammeal/Demandred/Rahvin etc? Also, I would like to point out it is 'to' not 't'.  ;)

I would argue IMO that Lanfear never loved LTT. She was his lover, but love and sex are different things, even in WoT. I think she was attracted to his power, his potential to gain more power (political and ruling power) and wanted part of it. Perhaps she misconstrued that for love, but I personally believe it to have been greed.

She could have gone for Sammael, Demandred etc but she would stand to gain very little, really. They are all pitted against each other I guess in the end, they all want to be Nae'Blis. Plus LTT (and now Rand) had something the Forsaken didnt - control of lands, of nations and armies. Whilst the forsaken are / were powerful in the OP, and could certainly wreak havoc, the Dragon was quickly becoming 'King of the World', and I think it is that power that she treasured.

I too want Rand dead. I think he's gone too far to fit in the world anymore, and it is better to go on without such a burden.

A good many of the common people and refugees are going to die, I expect not terribly a large populace to survive Tarmon Gai'don. I want that our main stars, sans Rand, are there to build the new world, they'll be helped by the industrial age coming. I want the final struggle to be fast and sharp and deadly, chaos all around but the knockout blow shall give the world hope.

Not me, I want him dead, and staying dead.
Fine, everybody but a few never satisfied death obsessed wierdos is satisfied. And Moridin. Happy now?

Actually, I'm the Dictator, so if I say that I'm not wrong and the language is, then that's just the way it is. I may have to execute you now, as an example to my less loyal subjects. Her obsession was with power. LTT, the most powerful man in the world, and now his replacement, also powerful. The reason she didn't go for the male Chosen is simple. They are not that easily manipulated, they know her, they don't want to risk her killing them, they will not get close to her. Also, they could be a liability. Attach yourself to someone who later falls, and you have to hope you don't get dragged down with them. She wouldn't have had power in such a relationship, so no, she wouldn't be interested. As for Rand, he is a rising star, the most powerful channler in the world, but he doesn't know how to use his powers, he's young, probably naive, and when she started pursuing him he was likely to begin a rather meteoric rise to power. And she was the most beautiful woman in the world. If you were the most beautiful woman in the world, I'm sure you would have supreme confidence in your ability to lead a boy like Rand around by the nuts, and if he is powerful, and you are still leading him, that sort of makes you a power behind the throne. Simple. She had a lot to gain by ruling Rand.

This is my first post, so be nice. :)

What I'd like to see happen,

LTT take over Rand at TG because Rand doesn't have a prayer. It would have to be LTT. He sealed the dark one once, he'll seal him again. Then LTT be the one to die (how? Don't know.) so Rand can live.

Tuon to swear some sort of oath to Rand. The Prophecies say that he has to bind the nine moons to him.

Someone teach Cadsuane some manners. I don't think she's a dark friend, I just thing she's full of herself, as most Aes Sedai are. I can only imagine that if they all lived to be as old as her, they'd be as difficult.

Faile get her revenge on Berelain. Or better yet, Perrin get some backbone and send Berelain packing. This woman made everyone think that they had slept together, has cause major problems in his marriage and he keeps her around? No wonder Faile has questioned his love and loyalty in the past.

Rand to find out who his mother really is and that Galad is really his brother.

Elaida finally get pulled down. Seriously, is there a more annoying character?

That's it for now. I didn't want to write a book on my first post. :)

I want Cadsuane to die, slowly and painfully... all Seanchans too. Except Tuon... only eternal pain for this bitch.

And maybe some pain for Mat, it's sayed that he'll "give up half the light of the world"... that deserve some pain. And because of his behaviour to Rand when he realized that his friend is the dragon reborn.

I fell for Rand in the first books, but after Jordan spit on him and made him a worm, I don't care so much - dead / alive... no matter.

Or alternatively: Rand becoming forsaken and joining the Dark One. This'll be nice.

I completely disagree!!! I do not want any of that to happen, and I truly doubt that it will, either!

First post.

I'd like to see one of my moonbat theories come about.

For some reason I think that the prophecy about the blood of the Dragon Reborn on the rocks of Shayol Ghul will turn out to somehow be referencing Elayne's twins needing to be there for some reason and not Rand physically bleeding out.  They are after all, Rand's blood and we know that they will be born becuase of Min's vision.  Although there's that whole "you must die" answer that Rand got in the tower of Ghenjei, so I dunno.
