I don't find it that confusing, and since kids normally don't take an interest in HOW they are related to a person until later, they just want to know how to address them and if they like them, I don't forsee too big of a problem in the near future.  Maybe when they're older, but not when they're little.

Kids often mirror their parents' general feelings towards things. If all the parents seem comfortable with the many relationships at hand, maybe the kids would all be okay with it. But if it is awkward among the adults the children will definitely sense that. Oh, and it also depends on other surroundings like their friends' families...if they have friends...

Has anyone put merit toward the fact that Rand is pushing for Elayne to become Queen in Carhien as well as Camelyn. If she is successful in that then each child will grow up to be a ruler. Their personal relations will be mute when being raised to be a king or queen.
