tldr,
I swapped Tigraine with Teph. Given that Tigrain is crazy busy and got new crazy meds, I may be giving a bit more benefit of the doubt on Tig's wolf hunting over Tephs on Wednesday.

I have "peace" as my "neutral" position, and I dropped Ed below Peace, if because he's taking these pot shots that while, relevant, don't actually solve or scum hunt anything. Make sense?

 

I moved Turin down because I feel that Turin's making connections where there aren't any and is trying to set something up. 

GK moved up, because I'm coming around to the idea of what Dice said that this is just GK being GK, much like how I said this is Heavy just being Heavy. For now, he's staying right there on the list until he says or does something that moves him higher or lower.

 

If you put a gun to my head, right now? I'd place it on Turin. Do with that as you will.

 

Went looking for a previous reads with reasons list from you and couldn't find it. Was there one? I ask because I'm looking for progression.  Can you give some thoughts on Dice? I think I asked earlier but don't recall if you answered.

 

@DPR, you appear to be the keeper of the lists, do you have anything from SD prior to this one?

I get what he’s done - he wanted to get conversations going and to his credit, he did. He’s uniquely creative about it, I’ll give you that, but Minnesota amirite? 
 

I have him as town for now based on why would anyone stick their neck out like that as mafia. He also seems genuinely preoccupied with his own game which doesn’t jive with being on a team

@SinisterDeath, thanks. One thing can you walk me through GK going from town lean to the bottom to moved slightly up? Just maybe what drove your thinking.  I'm not looking  for a case with quotes and stuff.

Just finished up orientation with my son for Morehead State University (super proud of my boy...full paid scholarship 😊).  I do apologize for not finishing last night RL is bout to take me out.

 

 

Okay until I started my catch up, SD was my top scum lean, although I couldn't determine if it was just because he was so far outside of my mental town box.   Since then, I do feel like he has become more focused on the game and the whole "i don't sus people just cause they sus me" seems pro town.  At this moment, out of the 3 with votes, SD is the last spot on the WTL list.  

 

It's no secret that I've sussed Peace during my catch up. There's not been much since my last post that has changed my mind.   It was almost like the moment you decided to get serious, everyone else had to jump on board or they weren't contributing.  I feel as I've started in at least one of the other posts that you're trying to pretend sus Teph while hard core sussing SD yet saying Teph pings you more. It reeks of distancing and throwing in light sus so later you can say...I sussed him.

 

GK, man you hadn't really pinged me much until this full on assault on Heavy.  Like Peace, you two are saying those two aren't contributing anything but spam but I've seen posts from both of them with problem solving effort.  I literally lol'ed when you said something about me giving Heavy an out by saying that's how he acted as town.  And just like the thing with Darthe early on....you're seeing only what you want to see and no matter how blatantly obvious something is, you act baffled.

 

Why can't it just be that Heavy is acting similarly to how he did last game and he was town in that game? Not giving an easy put, it's just my observation based on the only other game I've played with him. What really makes me go "hmm" is that you've played the game before.  You've played the game on DM before...why are you acting like meta is an unknown thing?

 

Plus the "just kill me" attitude makes me just wanna kill you to put you and us out of our misery.

For one thing, It's D1 so there really wasn't a lot to go on. A lot of people were in that "neutral" zone.

As the day progressed, he really did just keep digging his own hole, specially when he kept hounding me all day over what felt like nonsense.

So that town lean is basically a mafia lean.

 

Later; when I evaluated Dice's posts, and I re-read his earlier assessment about GK, it's giving me similar vibes as I get from Heavy. (Heavy just being Heavy)

However, I don't know GK as well as I know Heavy, so I don't know if this some kind of tactic on his part, or just a personality quark. So I moved him slightly up the list.

Quite simply he was there to converse with. He was already on my mafia queue so I took an opportunity to feel him out.

With only two to hammer I'll get some of my thoughts out now...as I think Tig will place her vote on whoever is closest to being hammered between Me and GK/EP.

 

First, I became very overt.  My actions got the ball rolling.  I wanted to give my SD/Teph reasoning on that first post but did get called away and was conflicted on not even posting a vote or just doing it and referencing coming back to my reasoning.

What spurred me was what I was seeing as a subtle dynamic between the two.  Nothing overt but triggering my senses.  Of course I could be way off base and since then only Teph has pinged me as it ruffling feathers.  SD took it in stride.  And if scum, kudos to him.

But really, when I turn town, I'd like other town players to look at who was opportunistic with my play style and pretend that being antagonizing was scum behavior.  Anyone can be antagonizing but most scum are more worried about staying under the radar than non scum.  That wasn't me.

So, I say, look closely at those reactions.  Who continued scum hunting?  Who latched on to the "easy" vote thinking they can say afterwards "Peace was acting crazy so I voted him I get get out of jail free card".  Believe me that is what will be said.

Well..maybe not so overtly now that I pointed it out..heh.

I liked what Turin said and what SD was pushing at him with as well.   What Turin said was mafia game true...not specific to this game.  SD was doing good digging.  Like I've said before, I believe SD is likely scum...and a well playing one.

people stopped talking in thread when I refused to give one DPR literally threw out 3 posts complaining about how I wouldn't give a list and then just left. Then for an extended period of time no one talked. So How else am I supposed to feel?
