I'm looking for human nature indicators.  Scum bussing each other or one bussing and the other distancing (which i believe is the case here) don't think what they are doing is obvious.  

Their goal is to set a foundation for later when one of the them flips scum and they hope others see the earlier interactions and think they can't be partners.

The last game was won by scum in somewhat this manner.

I'd give Teph a 6 and SD a 5 but it's close.  I voted SD because he had 2 votes and a 3rd vote should get discussions moving strongly out of the spam phase...btw SD is still spamming non game nonsense.

Heavy: emotional things aside, I see him thinking about what people are saying. Don't agree with some takes but understand his thoughts. 

 

Ed: seems to be paying attention to things, looking good. Want him to continue. 

Peace: not a lot so far and it may be I want him to be town. I do want to hear more about his take on SD and Tephulis. 

 

DPR: seems to be willing to distract/misdirect the thread with procedural talk. Also, the earlier interaction with Tephulis felt staged to get the thoughts Tephulis shared into the thread. 

 

Dice: Doesn't want to play. Feels like he might be unhappy with being mafia. 

 

Tigraine: Her worldview is that saying you are town is not town. High ratio of posts about life things than game things. Maybe the game things weren't memorable. 

 

SD: can't follow his thought process in game. The movie thing, the tarot thing, the dice things (not Dicetosser1) all feels like posting to post and look busy. There were a few WIFOM for no good reason instances. 

 

GK: Darthe read and vote was weird. Earlier unvote from SD felt off, like.he didn't want votes to build. 

 

Tephulis: the DPR interaction was weird to me. His apparent willingness to mark me as mafia until proven otherwise felt against his other takes of putting people null to start. The imo excessive calling people wolfy screams of projection. 

 

Wtl from DPR on down. Would like to see competing train of either GK or Tephulis to go with SD.

 

this just feels off, my vote on SD was clearly a joke vote. I removed it after a VC was posted after the DPR Teph thing because it felt like people were trying to get the game moving see relevant posts below

For the sake of accuracy, last game was won by mafia because they chose to do the opposite of what might be normally expected. It had nothing to do with bussing or distancing.

I'm not liking the fixation on early D1. Sure we don't have a lot to go on, but sussing people for distraction seems odd. Sinister days it was an icebreaker, that makes way more sense than anything else. Teph was joking, I cannot see either building a case of any kind on this. 

 

I don't see either behaviour as pro-wolf or anti-town. Sure it is a little unorthodox, but I prefer to look for intent rather than trying to identify people as low hanging fruit. 

 

I don't think this is a smoking gun, hut people asked for votes and trains, and the reasoning Peace has used feels flimsy enough to be an attempt at a miselimination. Sure there is still a lot to come before EoD, so I'm not saying my vote won't be moving.

Because a distraction needs to distract from something. If you aren't distracting from something, how can it be a distraction? There wasn't anything going on. There were no discussions being detailed. No reads list being buried. Why would Wolf!Sinister be any more likely than Town!Sinister to do these things? I don't see any motivation and without intent I cannot see it as AI.

I'll metaphorically sober up and calm down on the "distractions" as you call them, and become more serious in the days to come, once we actually have some content to work with.

 

And for the record, I hesitate to put a vote on you Peace, because you do come off as a town scum hunting, and you seem to be pretty narrowly focused on it. But I can't tell if that's how Town Peace scum hunts or a Scum Peace Scum Hunts...
