Hello everyone. I have been checking in on RJ's blog for a couple of months and just now decided to get involved with the forums. I found tEotW in an old house that i was helping fix up. After reading it I decided to read the rest of the series. That was a year ago and I just read book 11 and a new spring last month.

 

Now that I am on here, what do you guys suggest I should check out? There are quite a few things I do not remember from the books, that is why I am going to read them all again.

Be sure to check out all the Org's, and if you are into roleplaying, check out all of the RP divisions as well.

 

It also can't hurt to take a look at the Asmo poll in the General WoT discussion, and vote in that.

Welcome Malin! Things on the Org side are a little different here from the books as you prolly noticed. The reps of the various Orgs will be along eventually to bribe you , uh I mean Welcome you to join them. :) Have fun!

Welcome to Dragonmount! I recommend the White Tower Org and the Aiel Org. I don't know much about the roleplaying, but if that interests you, you should check it out as well. And there are lots of WoT discussions going on that are interesting to read.  ;D

Hello and welcome, Malin!  Whilst you're looking around, why not stop by the Ogier org and have a stein of ale with us?  Another org I'd recommend (largely because I'm a member ;)) is the Wolfkin, DM's nature org, although we have a lot of fun, and most likely some of the other members will be along later extolling the virtues of tequila and chilli... :D

Incase you didn't know these are new boards and there is still some tweaking going on so don't be surprised if things suddenly change.

 

To recommend...Well there the band of the red hand, we have plenty of brew flowing there and a few brawls as well...

 

The wolfkin, has TQ and Chilli, with Cheerleaders and Pirates, what more could you want ;D

 

And if you want to join the White Tower and become a Warder or Aes Sedai then make sure you pop along to the Red Ajah...oh and we are nothing like the books, I have to add that...people seem to be scared of going there ::)

 

Where ever you decide to go please pop along and say hello, we all love to to fresh faces around the place. ;)

As far as orgs go, be sure to stop by and visit the Wolfkin Org.  We are a crazy bunch and we have loads of fun.  We love visitors too... stop in and say hello and you are sure to recieve a welcome like no other.  And I can vouch for the Red Ajah as well.  They are quite a good bunch of crazy women.  *looks to make sure that no Reds heard what he said*  And do remember that you can join more than one org at a time (I believe that you can join up to 4 at a time)  Well, I hope to see you around!  *clinks bottles with Malin*  Cheers, mate!

Wolfkin is a fun little Org.  We have TQ and Chilli.  If you didn't know, Wolfkin is like what Perrin and Elyas are.

 

Aiel are the spear!  we have Oosquai and often go on raids.

 

The Band of the Red Hand is awesome.  'nuff said.

 

And the Black Tower is mad!  No foolishness will be excepted there, unless you can blame it on the taint.

Please do check out the Orgs here on DM, after you're done over at the WoT discussion boards. Don't let the name of the Org fool you, they're not always like how they're portrayed in the books.

 

I saw your post in the Post your pic thread, and if you like editing pictures and all that stuff, I recommend joining the Illuminators. They're the creative Org. I'm not a member myself, but they have some really talented people over there.

 

I'd also recommend the Seanchan, the entertainment Org. We discuss movies, TV-shows, games etc. Come over and start a thread about how awesome The Little House on the Prairie is. (because I'm afraid the others will laugh at me if I do it)
