I generally like these boards, but not a fan of the layout of the brown theme (where avatars are situated, etc).  But I'm not getting the brown theme here, just white and blue.  And I don't think I can see Ajah boards.  I think I'll lay low until everything's sorted out.  My mom's visiting anyway.

Edit:  And as soon as I post this, I get the dark theme... ><.

The boards themselves seem ok. I like the nesting feature. I know they're working on the cosmetic stuff but the sooner this blasted colour scheme is gone the better, its making my eyes sore. :'( Hmm, yeah and the layout of the threads is awful too but I believe that's also being changed. :-\ And the smilies are really ugly. :-X BUT the posting stuff is cool, like the marquee button and we can CENTRE stuff here unlike DM which is good. :D Sooo, the jury is out, will wait to see what transpires.

Ok everyone, tuck in...best way to get comfy is to eat and chat with each other...now here is also paper and pen for everyone...write your complaints on them and then we'll just burn them.....and after we've lived here abit...then we'll do it over and read them....

yes I am tired of all the complaining and crap....for goodness sakes...everytime you move into a new home..it takes a while to settle in and there is ALWAYs something you don't like..but you learn to accomodate.....but you have to live there a bit to find the quirks you didn't notice when you looked at it and said ..oh yeah  I'll love this place~!

The powers that be are well aware that the color scheme is not to everyone's satisfaction, that the layout is a bit awkward...give them time to adjust...we've been here what?  two days?  That isn't even enough time to realize that you forgot to pack grandma's best cook pot!

We understand they're working on it, Twinnie... :)  But if people hadn't "complained", it wouldn't have gotten changed.  If one or two people had said something, then they probably wouldn't have done anything.  They need the "complaints" so they know what to change.  I'm not saying people should be rude and impatient and continue to hound the staff once they've said they'll change it, but there's no reason people can't share their dislikes either.

oh don't steal dear...just eat to your heats content..*grins*  that's why they are there...*giggles*  although stolen cookies have a special flavor....

and I understand that Jhea...and constructive comments that point out things that arn't working are neccessary...or that seem lost and we can help each other in settling in  and figuring out stuf....shoot i am the most confused computer person there is!  What I'm tired of is the complaining, the nasty words the constant complaining...not constructive stuff at all...and that it has been immediate without a chance to even get the bugs out and find out what we have...

*agrees with Jhae*

Don't fret Twin, we know they're working on it, just commenting that it makes the forums harder to use in the meantime.

There, is the yellow better?  :P
