This is the new sign up thread for the mafia games. This thread will be locked between games. When the moderator for a new game is decided or volunteers, mods should be contacted so they can add a post here. When the current game ends, this will be unlocked for talk of the next game and sign ups. Spam will be deleted.

 

We didn't want to have to do this, but there has been an issue with the rules around here.

 

Questions about roles can be addressed by the mods or the game mod.

I think it could take a week or two to get our l33t mafia accounts ready. I'm planning to maybe mod the first game with the new mafia accounts - just to see if the system works as I intend - so I'd like to play, rather than mod, in the meantime if possible. Any volunteers to mod? :)

one of these days i'll have to design and run one of these things.... but not yet. i need a good idea, though i suspect these days that it will have a howardian, or perhaps lovecraftian theme.

(P.S. I'm aware that I've just about guaranteed that I'll be an innocent commoner. Can't give a role or evil status to someone who might not vote on a given day, right? Well, oh nameless mod, just think about the havoc to be caused by a player who's above suspicion from the get go. Make me a second finder, a symp, a vigilante or evil, and watch me rock. Oh yes, watch me rock :twisted: )

1) Can always send night actions in ahead of time

 

2) Mafia is a group. Don't necessarily need to be around to work with the night decision. If you so happen to be last man standing, you can just do what I said in option 1. :)
